Damn. I didn't care for it (mostly because it was too late for me), but it seemed like a good show.

They are pulling it...at least for this season.

Wow... scandals and controversies of TV... Oh, that's true Euterpe. You had started about homosexuals, so I figured you were talking about both... Sorry.

It's Christina...but we don't know yet. I read it online from a good source. Actually, there is talk of pulling the whole thing because it "got out".

I didn't say homosexuals. I said bisexuals. Bisexuals are perceived to be seductive, sexually deviant, nymphomaniacs, and hedonistic. But on Grey's, this will hopefully be shot down considering the character is NOT well, characterized in that fashion thus far. No, it will NOT be Meredith.

My dad used to listen to Howard Stern on the radio when he took me to school in the morning. I remember him complaining about the FCC, and how it was throwing him off public radio because of his indecent topics. While Stern did talk about "naughty" or "risque" topics I never felt that throwing him off the air was the right thing to do. The problem with the FCC is that it is taking away CHOICE. Government is making choices for us, rather than letting us make the choices ourselves. They decide that it is inappropriate, when anyone could easily skip over the station and listen to something more appropriate.
Instead of allowing us to recognize that our world is not made entirely of heterosexuals, it hides reality for thousands of couples out there. We could be teaching future generations tolerance, by allowing them to see what so many people and the FCC tries to hide. Instead of protecting us, it is preaching what is right and what is wrong. We have freedom of speech. The FCC isn't silenting the neo-nazis that speak on tv, but they are silencing those who speak of homosexuality and diseases.
I don't agree with the FCC.

I missed the episode when they told who was the homosexual woman. Who was it? Not Grey?

The FCC is useless. It's outdated, and sooner or later, the American public will realize this. As for homosexuals, I'm excited to see how Grey's Anatomy fits two bisexual women into its plot. It'll just be nice to see bisexuals as real, intelligent people rather than nymphomanicas and hedonists.

I watched that show yesterday, I was flabbergasted by the commercials. I don't think I like it too much, but it was fairly good...

I saw the commercials for The Bedford Diaries, and knew there was controversy to come. Airing not only a story about college kids in a sex ed class, but also homosexual teens being tossed into the plot is not an easy pill to swallow. Unfortunately.

The FCC wouldn't let PBS show an episode of Postcards with Buster (kids show about Arthur the aardvark's best friend) because Buster visits a lesbian couple.
