This is pretty much for DWM and Sudha but I live in an inland county of Florida so we are buckling down for Hurrican Frances. I am going to be locking down my computer so I won't be on for about another week or so. If you want you can send me e-mails and what not but I will not answer them for a while. Also I will try to get photographs of the aftermath to post somewhere for all to see. This one is going to be bad. Worse than Andrew. Eastern coastal counties are setting up makeshift morgues to accomodate the expected death tolls. This thing has a double eye wall! That is only seen in Pacific Typhoons (mostly) and that means it's HUGE! This is the biggest hurricane to hit the Eastern U.S. coast ever! It's probably bigger than the Great hurricane of 1900. Anyways enough ranting you can go to wtvt.com and go to the weather section and get the info on the hurricane. Thanks for chatting with me yall it might be a while now.

Yeah. We still have a great deal of Floridians here, apparently staying with family. What perplexes me is how they maintain any sort of income if they haven't worked for weeks on end.

Gem, was there a flood of people in Atlanta? There was in TN believe it or not. My girls and I were clubbin' on the main drag one night, and guys kept on stopping us and asking where they should go to hang out because they were all from FL! I thought that was pretty cool.

Okay I decided to take a plunge we are just outside the eye now. Frances is a tropical storm and we didn't get too much damage. Some of the siding came off of our house and our yard is messy with leaves and limbs and what not but nothing serious. We are one of the few who still have power...WOOT! Anyhoo it's been a wee adventure. Lot a wind and stuff. We're gonna drive around tomorrow to see if there was any major damage to our poor little city. LoL. I'll get my gramp's digital camera and take a few picures. I don't know if YN puts pictures in posts but if not I will put them in my AOL profile for most to see. Anyone else can e-mail me for them. Uhm DVM I forgot your e-mail because I normally just reply to yours so could you e-mail me. I expected the power to be out so we wouldn't be online but yay it's not out. Anyways I'm out. Ciao

Don't get me wrong here you guys, it's still a major hurricane, but it has been downgraded to a cat 3. The damage isn't gonna be near as bad but it will still be bad because the storm is so big. It will cover the entire peninsula of Florida. Actually I live sorta on the west coast but the eye is supposed to pass right over me! That would be awesome. If it does I am going outside in it. And I wanted to see if the blocking system would block the word sex. Guess we'll see.

And that would be me. Disney is an organization of complete ****ing *******es. While the rest of Florida is in a state of emergency and trying to evacuate, Disney flies in 3,000 teenage girls for Field Hockey and Volleyball tournaments. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's just asking for a law suite right there.

the stupid thing was this: Disney World was having a huge Field Hockey and Volleyball tournament from like wednesday til saturday (i think those were the days) and our entire Field Hockey team is in Florida....They left Tuesday nad they knew about the hurricane at that point...only one person on the team didn't go b/c her parents wouldn't let her. They should have just cancelled the whole tournament or postponed it....they are putting a lot of young lives in danger that could have been prevented.

I have some family in Florida. I hope they'll be okay. And I hope you'll be okay, too.
