People misuse drugs. People misuse a lot of things. I know some people who smoke that stuff for years and they seem fine. They do well in school, they don't smoke it everyday, they know when to stop, they are fine with or without, and overall they have control over using the drugs.
Even if it's illegal or legal, people will still find ways to get it.
What really matters is who gets it. If the person has no control, does stupid things under the drug's influence, relies on the drug, uses it everyday and actually thinks they need it then NO, they should not use it. However, you can't know who is okay uses it and who isn't.
So the only other thing to do is gather all the drug on earth and put it in a rocket-ship then blow it up to space so no one could have it.
My friends who are potheads are all slacking off in school, which is really none of my business, but what I do care about is that smoking becomes their #1 activity...they do it all the time, and some of them can't have fun or loosen up when they're not high. I think it really is addictive.
pot has no addictive substances in it, so you're wrong. There are always people who take things too far and ebcome obsessed with it. be it video games or pot, it doesn't mean it's bad.

I also guess people like Carl Sagan that smoked pot were irresponsible users, and that Woody Harrelson is one bad guy, all that money he gives to charities and all that irresponsible marijuana use... Please don't stereotype.
I'm good friends with Carl Sagan's son, Sam.
Sam is like my favorite person ever. His mom is really involved in this organization, or one similar to it. It makes me laugh.

What do you have against opium? Do you throw away pain killers the doctors give you? They are almost all opiates.
I was watching cops once and it was a mardis gras special, guess who the people were that tried to fight cops? DRUNKS. the high ones just stood there and didnt do much.

marijuana ruins peoples lives, do you really think people will only smoke marijuana? its a gate way drug, all my friends used to smoke marijuana but then they just couldn't get the same high after a while. I quit that bull **** after about a month but my friends kept on smoking for 2 years. Now they are all complete stoners who care about nothing except drugs. most have taken shrooms and they are trying to get their hands on opium. smoking marijuana is bad, but its even worse because it gets you into other kinds of drugs. and personally i would much rather walk down the street and see a couple of drunks then see a bunch of people high.
