Just wanted to let you all know know about a project that my group, Youth OUTLOUD! is working on.

It's a Global Youth Yearbook that compiles writing from teenagers all over the globe on a variety of issues.

We'd love if you got involved with our yearbook by submitting news, feature or opinion stories on topics sch as the Middle East crisis, the fashion trends in your part of the world, or anything that comes to mind.

If you can think it, you can write it.

In addition to asking for submissions, we also post weekly questions for you to answer. Your answers will be incorporated into a much larger, global story so your input is very important!

Here are the two we have so far, please take the time to answer them because we value your opinion!

1. What is your morning routine? During the summer? During the school year?

2.
The new conflict in the Middle East has made its way into the
headlines and our lives all
around the world. We would like to create a story describing what the
youth of the world are
thinking and feeling about this conflict and the others going on.
Here are
a few questions you can answer that will be incorporated into a story
with other respondents. You can answer all or a few of the questions.

1. How is the conflict in the Middle East impacting you and your
community?
2. What do you feel should happen to resolve this conflict?
3. What are your feelings towards this and why?
4. If you live in a non-conflict country, how does this war affect
your outlook and thoughts of the future?
5. If you live in a conflict area, give an example of how life has
changed since the beginning of the conflict. How has it changed the
way you go to school, or shop, or hang out with your friends?

The questions will be posted at http://groups.takingitglobal.org/youthoutloud and www.myspace.com/globalyouthyearbook every Monday and we ask that your replies be sent by Friday. Keep checking the bulletins for future questions and additional information and feel free to send questons, weekly question replies, and submissions to my personal email address at daylinamiller@yahoo.com

Thanks for your time and looking forward to hearing from all of you!

1. I'm homeschooled right now, but I'm about to start school...but really I take a shower at night so I'll have more time in the morning to do my hair and make up and I usually pick out what I'm wearing the night before...that way I don't have to wake up as early. I wash my face, then do my make up, then my hair, get dressed, then leave...that's all year round.

2.1. The conflict has brought up higher gas prices (which are steadily going down!! down to 1.96 is the lowest I've seen.) and it created a problem for my family because we're always going and doing and we had to cut back on some of our doing.

This is really kewl...I'm gonna try to keep up with this.
