The Yellow Ribbon Project is a suicide-prevention organization that was founded in 1994 by the parents of a seventeen-year-old who commited suicide. There are a bunch of organizations, clpo13. Rather than picking a different shade of a color or picking many colors, they'd rather pick the same one. Don't ask me why, I've always known the yellow ribbon as a suicide awareness and prevention symbol.

I have the foundation on my toolbar. I love it a lot. That is how i got my yellow ribbon for my Avatar.
