go to KentuckyFriedCruelty.com and read about it! If you want to help, e-mail me at bnadeau23@yahoo.com or talk to me at xxPEACEnotWAR on aim. WE REALLY NEED YOUR HELP! I'm planning on boycotting KFC until they adopt the animals welfare guidelines. They state that: - only 2 chickens per cage [KFC has 4] -there should be an electrical wire fence [KFC has one] - Chickens have to be dead before they are put into the scolding hot water [KFC's chickens are sometimes alive, and are burned alive] - if the chickens were allowed to live longer then only 2 months, they would be healthier, bigger and have less chances of getting e-coli.

Boycotting a service is the same as not using it, right? So technically, aren't you boycotting KFC every time you don't eat there?
The more you know, the less you don't know.

I'm wondering something, VegetarianWithACause, you seem to be really against KFC and what they do. Are you planning on boycotting them?

Well I know that. Do you mean there are people who boycott suppliers to KFC?

And there is people who boycott KFC. Go to photobucket or youtube and you'll see it. Pictures and videos tones of stuff.

By the way, Vegetarian, there are more than two reasons for giving up meat. Just thought I'd let you know. And though I did eventually give up the last type of meat because of thinking about what I was eating while eating it, I don't care that much about whether this company or not is purportedly being cruel. I'm more of a respect everything you meet in return for respect kind of person.

I haven't eaten there in awhile, but I know I have in the past four years. And if my family eats there, I have to eat something. kfccruelty.com is the only source I can find about the cruelty at kfc. I need an un-biased one in order to figure out whether or not it's legitimate. Seriously though. Why don't people boycott the suppliers, or at least protest them?

I've never heard of Bakers, so I wouldn't know that. And aside from two biased websites (the KFC cruelty vs the official KFC website), how do we REALLY know about KFCs practices, and how do we know whether or not they have changed? P.S. I'm a vegetarian. And I'm not in it for the health aspect. EDIT: If it's a problem with the suppliers, then why not protest THEM?

Every single fast food resturaunt serves semi-vegetarian food. And honestly if you asked a vegetarian they probably still wouldnt go to KFC even if they have vegetarian options.
Yep. I just did a thread on it. http://boards.youthnoise.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/80510584663/m/96110824P.S. Yes, I would go to KFC. P.P.S. I said marked. Most of the restaurants with vegetarian food, you have to know it exists since it's rarely marked anywhere else.

quote: KFC SUCKS
Actually, KFC is one of the few fast food restaurants that actually have their vegetarian options marked. That's actually pretty amazing. They also admit that while they cook their fries in vegetable oil, they also cook their chicken in it. So until we know for sure the practices of KFC, at least realize what they do do before making such judgments.
