I LIVE in Cali why would i want to care about the enviroment in alaska. And the enviroment and people in alaska. I focus around Cali if you look up in the sky what do you see? Pretty clounds. Sometimes in cali but what do you really see?...Eating meat also Harms the Planet.:
Eating meat is one of the many reasons causing global warming. The massive amount of animal faces produced in factory farms is the largest source of airborne methane. According to EPA, methane is more than 20 times more effective than carbon dioxide at trapping heat in the atmosphere.

I have more but I'm saving that.

Apparently, you didn't read what I said. Many Alaskan Natives eat ROTTEN MEAT. As in, slimy, covered in deadly flesh eating bacteria, swarming with flies, decomposing animal corpses. And it does not make them sick.

Little known factoid: Eskimo means "Raw meat eater".

And like I said before, if you expose yourself to bacteria most of your life on a regular basis, your body has the ability to adapt and become immune, in the same way many Alaskan Natives that still subsist on the land and eat rotten meat, are immune to most food born illnesses. In other words, we all have the ability to be immune as well, but we're all too pussified to eat raw and rotting meat.

For such an environmentalist, you know very little about nature and the people that inhabit it...

Typos are a big deal, because they are 100 percent preventable and fixable. By not fixing them, you're just presenting yourself as lazy.

The National Institutes of Health warns that this cancer-causing chemical is then ingested by people who eat chicken flesh. Men's Health magazine ranked chicken as the number one food you should never eat because of its high rate of bacterial contamination.

I don't really care that much because I'm not a big fan of chicken anyway. Also, Organic free range chicken is always available, or people could raise their own chickens. Problem solved.

And I'm guessing you've never met an Alaskan Native in your life, as many of them would often eat raw and rotten meat or whale blubber and it doesn't hurt them at all. In fact, it helps treat and prevent illnesses, like influenza. The rest of us have weak digestive systems because we weren't raised on that. And that's the only problem. If at some point in our evolution we decided to stop cooking our meat and continue eating it raw, we'd be immune to most food borne illnesses, just like the Alaskan Natives. This is why I like rare, bloody steaks.

And also why are talking about who suffered most.

You're talking about who suffered the most. I'm only telling you that I had a bad start to life as well, because I want you to get this idea out of your head that you're special in some way for having suffered and that suffering makes you somehow more mature (which you obvious aren't). I guess you're the very first individual on the planet to go through so much stuff at an early age, that your brain magically developed completely, 10 years ahead of time, overnight. Amazing...

I just fixed it. Therefor to therefore. Anyways you believe that spelling is a big deal and I on the other hand do not. I admire that you think spelling is a big deal, it's always good to think seriously about something. I do to but not mahor ones. I admit id do use lol and omg but i hat it when ppl tlk lke dis it gets lke rly annoying like omg inbd. I hate tha you can use it here or there but a whole sentance, NO. But i dont think thing like adding an "e" is serious. Anyways, no matter what you cant excape diseases from food. Meat ot not. Although I have seen much more deases in meat, but that doesen't mean it doesn't apply to vegetables. It does.

Bacterial contamination can often (if not always) be fixed with proper cooking. Animal flesh is not the only thing prone to contamination, anyways. I'm sure we all remember the big spinach scare just recently. At least meat gets cooked. Washing doesn't always get rid of contaminants.

It's typos omfg. It's like i make HUGE mistakes. I make small ones like therefore i forgot to add an e. My gosh by the way:

Because chickens are now bred and drugged to grow so large, chicken flesh today contains three times as much fat as it did 35 years ago. The most toxic form of the poison arsenic is used in chicken feed because it promotes faster growth. The National Institutes of Health warns that this cancer-causing chemical is then ingested by people who eat chicken flesh. Men's Health magazine ranked chicken as the number one food you should never eat because of its high rate of bacterial contamination.

And also why are talking about who suffered most. I mean do you cut do you suffer from SAD and GAD depression does the thought of suicide ever enter your head almost every day do you get panic attacks. But wait i forgot why are fighting over who suffered most????? I dont know but my list goes on forever and i dont tell others deep into my personal life. So anyways wats your remark to the chicken thing above. ??

I'm going by observation. Smile

And experience.

quote:
I have been through so much shit that a 13 year old shouldn't go through.

By the time I was 13, I went though enough heartache and fear to last me a lifetime. I don't even talk to my dad anymore because of it. You're not the only one with a sob story, so scrap it. The crap I dealt with did not magically make me mature or better compared to other 13 year olds. I was still rebellious, didn't think about my actions, and I acted like I was ruler of everything because I had no life experience to prove otherwise. The only difference with me was that I was emotionally scarred.

I thought I was more mature, but now that I'm older, I can see that I wasn't.

So basically, if you're so great, why is it that other kids your age, on this site, have better english skills, common sense and manners? That just makes no sense to me at all...

quote:
By the way type way to fast that make many spelling typos but at least im not low enough to where i can out of stuff to talk about so i pointed small things such as spelling.

I'll pretend I knew what that said...

To say spelling is a "small thing" when the only form of communication we have here is through writing, is really retarded.

And I type fast as well, believe it or not, but I have a strange habit of wanting people to understand everything I say. This isn't Myspace in case you haven't noticed. This is YouthNoise. Adults like to come here to read what youth have to say on certain subjects. And if any of them are reading anything you're saying, they're going to assume you're just another stupid teenager and take nothing you say seriously. Good job, on not only screwing the reputation of vegetarians, but of teenagers as well. Smile

Well you know i dont know you. I've never huged you met you seen you or ever had an actual conversation to you eye to eye. So therefor i have no idea what your like. I'm going by observation. So i dont know. I admit that i cant make judgments out of just what your saying. Although it might say what your sort of like but not 100%. So what gives you the right to say I have zero knowledge of life. I have been through so much shit that a 13 year old shouldn't go through. And to tell you the truth I am OUT of this hellhole in 5 years. (Meaning moving out, not life) And it also applies to my parents you have nevr met them seen them or even spoken to them. And you know what have a problem with my attitude call 1-800-kiss-my-ass.
Okay sorry for that i saw it on a myspace page and i had to say it. Anyways back to what i was saying. Reqoute me on my signature i'd like to say EG your a great teacher. (Wow that i think is the nicest thing iv said to you, anyways) KFC SUCKS.....

And if you come here to bring down the people against KFC and tell them negativity then you my friend obviosly have no life.

Here's how this site works, since none of you fucking newblings seem to get it...

1. Someone makes a thread about a certain topic.
2. People reply with differing viewpoints.
3. Debates usually ensue.

No one is attacking your beliefs. You were the one who put your beliefs on an internet forum for all to see and disagree with. Also, your entire attitude ever since you first came here has been shitty so, of course, we're going to be shitty in return. You're only 13 years old, you have zero knowledge of life, so I strongly suggest you refrain from telling your elders to go and get one.

How would you feel if something you put your heart and soul deeply in and others come around and bring it down?

This has happened to me many, many times and it doesn't bother me anymore. This is apart of life, but you wouldn't know that now would you? Maybe you are the one who should get off the interwebs and go out and live life. I think your parents should kick you out and make you live on your own. If I had a daughter like you, I would do the same thing.

quote:
Then agian if you have no life and focus around this you must have nothing to put yourself deep into. KFC im against i have something to care about. Wich is the rightful treatment of animals.

So, because I don't share your beliefs, I have no life, I don't put myself into anything, and I have nothing to care about? [INSERT EXPLETIVE]!!!!!!! You are contradiction personified.

Im not forcing you no believe in what i believ to do what i do.

By insulting us for not giving a shit about chickens, you are.

And for the last time, learn to spell.

agreed any one who thinks cats are wusses needs to meet a very close friend of mine at one of the big cat preserves I've volunteererd at, or they just need to meet a pissed off tom cat in an alley.

Anyway, amp said what he said, because he doesn't want to waste time arguing with someone who doesn't want to put any effort whatsoever into their grammar and spelling (And research). If no one can understand you, or if you're insulting everyone constantly, what's the point? All you're doing is giving the Mods a reason to censor you. Which isn't too bright.

quote:
And boycott it by eating there wow thats a great idea to get fat or fatter for some people's case.

You wont get fat from eating at KFC if you exercise everyday. I was vegetarian for about a month a while ago (worst idea of my life), and because I wasn't working out as much as I should, I gained about 10 pounds. I switched to unprocessed foods (meaning no tofu, no veggie substitutes, just fresh produce, grains, meat, and some yogurt) and dropped 17 pounds in 3 weeks with little exercise. Also, a lot of marathon runners eat tons of fast food, because they're burning so many calories.

So in short, obesity is mostly attributed to lack of exercise and overly processed food.

quote:
To those against it good thing you have a brain.

...Wow.

I have a brain. I have a very large brain. Because I have a brain, I prefer to determine my stance on things via massive amounts of research with very little emotion involved. Those who think with emotion and stand for something based on what they feel, rather than what is actually accurate are wrong 99.999999% of the time...

Like vegetarians, who are so butthurt about animals being eaten that the logic center at the front of the brain is shut off, while the animalistic part of the brain is turned on. Which means, you're nothing but a bunch of dogs barking at nothing. (If she takes that of out context, she will have proven my point beautifully) And because they are barking so much without thinking, they need other people to think for them. And this is where Goveg.com, PETA and PETA2 comes in. Then they start barking "facts" they "researched" on those sites, and make themselves look stupid to those who know better and thus ruin the whole reputation of the vegetarian movement. To you I say, keep it up. You're doing a great job of this. Smile

I have never ate anything from KFC, so I guess I am ok. However, I still signed some petitions that were against KFC.
