Wanna be part of something big? Amnesty International (AI) is that critical voice - independent from government, corporate or national interests - that works to protect human rights worldwide. Founded in 1961, AI now has more than 1.8 million members (over 50 percent students) from over 150 countries around the world. Through Amnesty, teens and students like us (I'm 15) are changing the world. Because of youth and student activists: Prisoners of conscience have been released. Death sentences have been commuted. Rapists have been brought to justice. Governments have been persuaded to change their laws and practices.
Your help is needed to end mass kilings, violence against women, and other grave abuses of human rights.
You may already have a group at your school! If not its real simple to make one.
