My dad is smoking at the moment and I strongly think that Nicotine should be taken out of cigarettes, please share your opinions with me.

Then all you're inhaling is 4000 deadly chemicals besides nicotine. Maybe people should just stop smoking and not make the government be their doctor.

Nicotine is a natural part of tobacco. You can't have a cigarette without tobacco.

If it's one thing that I hate, it's cigarettes. It's so gross and horrible for your body and these poor people are addicted. My dad smokes as well and I don't really know what to do either. He's tried quitting before but it's almost as if he doesn't really want to try anymore. Taking nicotine out of cigarettes would get rid of all the nasty tobacco companies, but it'll never happen, sadly. If cigarettes didn't grow up with this country, they would never be an industry at all.

taking the nicotine out of cigarettes is like taking the pot out of a joint. the reason most people smoke is because they are addicted to the nicotine not to the cigarette itself. once you take out the substance that makes it addictice the consumers have no reason to continue to pour all their money into buying it, and the cigarette companys know this. as much as I agree and know where your comming from, I doubt this will happen.

First of all taking nicotine out of cigaretts would cause a big problem and probably illegal trade. Its a drug and lots of people are addicted.

but realy im not sure. Give him some facts on smoking and stuff.

I'm really scared that he might get lung cancer or something and I really want him to quit. Does anyone have any ideas about how to help him quit?
