Hi everyone,

Last year I started an organization called Second Chance to help homeless cats and dogs here in the D.R. .. Here, animals are treated terribly on the streets and often have skin diseases, worms in their intestines, and suffer from hunger and a fear of humans.

In S.C., we pick up puppies and kittens and take them to the vet. We fundraise, which takes care of the bills. Then we find homes for them.

However, we can only do so much fundraising. We would like to reach a point, economically, where people can freely bring animals in for help to us. It's the most terrible feeling in the world to have to turn a street dog down - we want to reach a point where we can freely accept them all.
