After figuring out the space-time continuum, and the very fabric of time itself, YN has created the world's very first Time Machine. Oooooh, aaaaaah. Now, your job as NMers, is to jump into this time machine and take it wherever in history you want to go. So right here, you will tell us where in history you want to go, who you want to meet, what you want to do, and why. Have fun! (And remember to keep the time machine at 88MPH.)

I would like to talk to Queen Hatshepsut. She has some answers that I need. I would also like to talk to John Adams. It would be nice to see Europe in the early 1600's. I would like to go to the Jamestown settlement. I would like to say that amp has almost all the places I would like to go and see covered. I would like to see the Turtle in action. I would like to see the raising of the flag at Fort McHenry. I would like to chat with Lafayette. I would like to yell at Benedict Arnold. Sorry about my spelling on a lot of things.

If I could go back in time...I think that I would go to Ancient Greece - I have always been fascinated with them. And then I'd want to go to Ancient Egypt...And I'd like to see the day I was born.

They set up small villages and fought attacking Native American tribes. Anyway...it is hilarious that the Vikings knew America "Vinland" existed for centuries before Columbus made his discovery. They had it on their maps and in legends and everything. Just because they didn't set up a long-lasting colonial empire or decimate the native population doesn't mean they shouldn't be credited with discovering it...

well he did discover America (south america that is) but Leif Ericson or possible Eric the Red (Vikings) discovered north America, there is evidence but as far as I know it's conclusive

The Vikings came to the US (well, North America, technically Canada) before that. Why does Columbus get the stinkin' credit?
