I think you mean Hannibal Barca. :-)

Julis Caesar had the most dynamic influence on world development for the simple reason that Rome continue to grow, which made his changes to Rome's political structure all the more felt.

Alexander the Great would have to follow for spreading western thought to eastern cultures.

Aren't some of these people not *historical* figures, per se? There isn't a great deal of evidence that either Moses or King Arthur were actual people.

I'd throw my lot in with Caesar Augustus, Marcus Aurelius and the Yellow Emperor.

I wouldn't call Joan of Arc 'ancient', although if the tales of her are true, she can be considerered a great leader.

If she can count and by 'ancient' we mean the middle ages and before then i'd be tempted to say Mehmet 'Fatih' II, conquerer of Constantinople, Saladin - the honourable leader of the Saracens who expelled the Christian crusades. And finally Ghengis Kahn for just being a ruthless bloodthirsty womaniser :-P
