It is alright, loveformusic, I must have simply misunderstood your statement. But yes, I play trombone in classical pieces, compose music, and have a small recording study, as well as DJ for my local radio station and remix songs for dance clubs.

wow.. um sorry if i touched a soft spot? i wasn't trying to be witchy and pick on you or anything, i think you just interpreted what i said the wrong way.. but actually, i not only listen to all of those amazing classical artists, but i play them.. i play the cello and i don't want this too seem like i'm bragging, but i'm very advanced for my age.. i'm playing music that my private teacher played when she was a junior in college.. so yeah.. i know all about them.. close and personal.. haha just kidding.. but yeah, i'm sorry if you took what i said the wrong way.. i know how hard it is to read what people say online.. like with sarcasim and all that.. so i'm sorry.. the last thing i want to do is make someone mad.. Frown

The violin is my favorite to listen to considering I have played it since I was 7 years old.

Actually, I do listen to the core of a song. You insult me by accusing me of not listening to the instruments you listed, when I do, yet neither of them are my favorite. I own entire collections of Mozart, Beethoven, Jolin, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Brahams, Debussey, Rachmaninov, Mussorgsky, Chopin, and Gershwin. I also recommend Saint Saens, if you have not already.

I don't prefer guitar, I would simply have picked something other than the instruments you listed as my favorite, such as the trombone or viola. I have played the trombone for 9 years, and the viola is but a favorite of mine. That is why, do not make it appear as though I am not one to listen to the core of a song and am simply obsessed with the outer appearances of a song as so many actually do.

native american or celtic pipes and flutes. I vote the invisible OTHER category. Also the saxophone is good.

i don't have an other because i want you to choose from the choices listed, if you don't like any of them, then just say what you like and why and why you didn't choose any of the others, or whatever, and i purposly didn't put any type of guitar on there cuz i know that would be chosen no matter what, i guess this poll is more for the music fanatics that actually listen to the music part of a song, not just the lyrics and the melody.. but actually the harmonies and background instruments that you can barely hear, it's actually quite interesting, you just have to listen... it makes the songs 100 times better... but whatever..

You don't have an 'other' category, what kind of poll is this?
