if it is for black history month i suggest checking this out. Its got some cool info.

If not for black history month i would just choose a famous person from any point in history that intersts you.

This is a little off topic but has to do with black history if anyone is intersted.

If its for black history month why dont u try to do someone like Malcom X, or Langston Hughes (who i really admire), and if its not for black history month (you should still try to do Langston Hughes though lol) or you ucould try to do someone like Thomas Jefferson, or someone that had something to do with the constitution like James Madison

If this is a black history month topic:
Malcolm X would be pretty cool to right about, the violent side of cultural revolution type situations.

Martin Luther King Jr, though a popular topic, is never really resarched well. You could do the angles of his critisicsm of government violence and lessons of how civil disobedeince can still help up today. As he said, "The greatest purveyor of violence on the planet is my own government."

If its not for black hsitroy month:
Abbie Hoffman, leader of the yippie party, cool writer, etc, He was eventually busted for cocaine in an entrapment sting by the police, he brought a scale for the friend of a friend who was a pig, apparently, and got arrested. He was wanted until 1976, when he turned hiimself in and was let out in 82, I believe. In 89 or so he died, possibly by suicide, possilby murder in retaliation for some big businesses, etc, he opposed.

Thomas Jefferson (I think you've probably heard of him)
