i have to comment on this.

homosexuality is a sin, but everyone
sins and god loves and forgives everyone.

also, no matter what, all men are created
equally and they are to be treated equally
because we are all equal in the eyes of
god, or at least, thats what the bible says.

it also says god made us the way we
are for a reason...so how can he make
being gay a sin? its the same as making
being black a sin.

Leviticus 18 talks about sex perversions, which it seems homosexuality is among them, and goes on in chapter 19 to talk about magic and ritual. 21 talks about how the priests should be holy and not cut their beards, and how whores should be burned at the stake...basic practices that yahweh found the Egyptians and Cananites were doing. In his opinion, profane.

It is the old testament, and when jesus came, he said nothing against those things...but also nothing for them, so it's up to your own interpretation.

I can't stand people who find one line of the bible, read it, re-read, re-order the words, change the context, then pretend like they have something that is some form of evidence from God. In case you don't realise this, THE BIBLE IS ALMOST 2000 YEARS OLD!! More if we're talking about the old testiment. It was also written by humans, dictating the socially acceptable behavior of their time. If we no longer listen to the fact that several people in the bible had multiple wives, why should we listen to the statement being gay is wrong.

Actualy in the Bible there is nothing there to say it is wrong. Just is there and is out of the norm. But I've read the bible a few times over (so I know what I'm talkin bout when it is needed. lol) and I saw nothing that said it was wrong or sinful.

It's obvious from your posts that you consider yourself a Christian and follow the bible quite literally, but I have to ask you one question, what is one of the main things that Jesus was said to teach us.
It was love thy neighbor, and saying that your neighbor is a sinner because of love is totally contradicting that lesson.
Not only that but one tenth of the population is Gay or Lesbian, that's not unnatural, it's just a minority. Also, the bible was written thousands of years ago and in a few sections it's for slavery and against womens rights, we couldn't possibly take the bible as literally as you take it without living in the past. Where in the present now and equality should be something we strive for not stray away from.

i didn't not believe that it wrong and the only that you can be happy is that way then so be it. i believe in being happy and if that make you happy and that fact is that i love being gay and if it wrong then am going to be wrong all the time.

If you think about all the things people do sexually that many would consider abnormal all of a sudden homosexuality pales in comparison. Don't you think people are concentrating on the wrong sexual practice that they think wrong? The are far worse, non-concentual and often illegal things for people to be worring about.

If y'all live by what the bible says then divorce is ten times worse then homosexuality.

What’s wrong with being different? Hell it’s not even that different anymore. I have a lot of gay friends and they are some of the koolest people to hang around.

Some people are just narrow-minded, and not open the change.
