this seems pretty one sided to me, more then enough times I have witnessed left wing gangs attacking and throwing stuff at people during rallys. Or breaking stuff and painting Swastikas on store fronts, I think really it's a wake up call. If you are for peace, then be for peace...if you want to start a fight then right wingers will be there ready and waiting. And I don't mean like in the streets with baseball bats, but how long can people sit around and watch people screaming and yelling, Bush This! Bush That! Evil America!! Blah Blah Blah. It's boring, and if you can attack republicans, I guess they have made it clear, they can attack you to.

I don't think there are more republican / right wing people in this country, I think there are just more voicing how sick to death they are of hearing complaining and having their lives interupted so somebody can shove their viewpoint down their throat.

It's boring and old.....

..........
Goes around comes around

I still remember when my mum was young, people in this country were all against capitalists---if you weren't you would get arrested
That period was called "Cultural liberation"
Thousands of democrats were insulted and many of them chose suicide.
This lasted for 10 years and slowed china down, even brought us back.Until today it still hurts, even the gov has to confess and apologize, even this evil evil cheesy communistic gov encourages people to remember these 10 years,as a serious precedent.
The roots were just the same:hatred towards different belief.

In this case it's the same thoughts just different actions.
So people today out there have these things in mind while we've already got rid of it?

Well, if people like redjill espouse beliefs commonly shared by a Communist, you're just setting yourself up to be ridiculed.

Seriously, if you really think that people shouldn't have rights, then you are an enemy in my opinion.

Think long and hard before you spout off; granted, you have the freedom of speech, but Communists are enemies and they should be treated like enemies.

And yes, Communist and socialist labels are meant as an insult, because, hello, this isn't a communist or fully socialist country - this is a capitalist, free-enterprice, free-market country.

You're either for it, or against it.

And judging by redjill's constant bickering, and a majority of the posts on this entire website, you're all against capitalistic principles and society.

Therefore, you're either socialist or Communist - so don't be alarmed when you get called that while still holding on to those views.

I also think it is ridiculous to complain about this sort of thing.

About five years ago I might have agreed with this, but lately I've found that either the violent ultraconservatives are coming out of the woodwork, or there are more of them. Either way, it's gotten to the point where I've gotten threats of physical harm because I chose to express my left-leaning opinions. Also, hating on liberals, something that used to be confined to a loudmouthed little corner of society, is now all over the place. Seriously, even here in southern California, it's everywhere. It seems that the definition of "moderate" is becoming more like the definition of "conservative" these days.

I don't want to eliminate all people with viewpoints I disagree with, no matter how ignorant they may sound to me. So I can't understand why someone who is always raving about "freedom" and "democracy" wants to do this to people like me. Mad

I've gotten use to the right-wing bashing by such nut cases as Fred Savage or Bill O’reilly. What I think they are doing really is just building things up to make a more exciting show, so don't take it to personally, and most people who are moderate don’t listen to their ranting. Also I just laugh it off because most of the Right-wing drum beaters are the most corrupt and hypocritical people; which is shown through their idealization of Contra Scandal Reagan. It is very amusing though how the use the terms communist, liberal, or socialist for every other word, kind of like Joey huh?.
