I used to absolutely agree with everyone who said Mexican men are creepy and stare a lot, until I started working at a restaurant with them. First of all, everyone should acknowledge that it's a generalization and not a complete truth. Anyway, at the restaurant, basically all the kitchen help is Mexican. When I first started working there, I was stared at any time I walked in the kitchen and whistled at constantly. It still happens a lot, except that now, after a few months, I've actually started to get to know the guys in the back and talk to them, in english and spanish. I'll tell you what, they are nicer, less perverted and more respectful than the English-speaking white and black waiters I also work with. I think that it is a cultural thing - to them, it's just not considered rude to stare. If you think about it, I've heard of cultures where it's considered rude to make eye contact. Those cultures would find Americans completely creepy and out of line. Also, do you really think white, black, and Asian guys are generally less perverted because they stare when you aren't looking? I guarantee you they are thinking the same things as Mexican guys who stare.
Can anyone tell me why Mexican men act like they never saw a woman before? I am not racist but in my experience, they are so disgusting and they smell. They walk with their wife and/or children and they look at women and say nasty things and are practically drooling. Meanwhile, their idiot wife allows that behavior. What the hell?
Well, i can say I've had no memory of staring Mexicans. that's a big generalization. In their defense, the Mexicans i've walked pass either are minding their own business, or they're nice and speak. Might i add, i do speak back.
