My friend Jess went to Mexico (or was it Brazil?) and she was bit freaked out at first when several men openly stared at her chest on the beach and actually came up to her, initiated coversations, etc...but anyways, their "staring" is a compliment, or so I'm told, and it's not considered rude or offensive in their country.
ok I'm mexican, and I don't "stare" at people as you stated here. Ok maybe if your talking about older mexican guys sometimes they do stare I admit that. But I know speaking for myself I don't "stare"
I really don't know why they stare, and I really don't care why. All I know is I have a friend from Mexico and she doesn't stare. Maybe it's because she's been in this country for a couple of years or maybe it's because she's not like other mexicans.
If you think about it Mexicans are not the only people who stare, we Americans stare and point too. Which is worse staring or pointing? I guees that depends on who has the gun.
Okay, I don't know why Mexicans stare, who the hell knows why? all I know is that they stare at everybody (especially at ladies, which is creepy) and start talking a hundered mph about something, which you are guessing is you, and staring like there is no tomorrow. Who the hell knows why?

LOL!!! Thanks to my visit to Hawaii, I can take pride in knowing I am in approximately 60 or so pictures located somewhere in Japan...
