My friends get mad at me when I hang out with guys instead of them. I mean, I don't blow them off or anything! Is it wrong that I would rather play football than talk about my period?? I think it's stupid. I still hang out w/ the girls, but like, 3 times a week I'll hang out w/ the guys.

Do any of you other girls have this problem??

well, half of my friends are guys, and the other half are girls, so when i go to hang out with people, theres both present. Sometimes i chill with groups of all females/all males. No one so far has said anything about it. are you sure that your not ignoring one group to chill with the other? try using a calendar and see if you really are ditching your girls for the guys.

I know what you mean. They can get over it though. I need guys to anchor me down to earth before I float away into girly-girl land (especially when we're all PMSing). Just tell them if they can't except you hanging out with guys sometimes then they can't except you. I told my friends that and it did result in a gooshy 'of course we can except you' moment and now everything's fine. If they can't except that then maybe you should just stick with hanging out with the guys.
