We have no problem calling African Americans BLack and European Americans White why don't we regularily call Asians Yellow, and Native Americans Red, and people who are "mulatto" Grey? It seems to me that people find calling "Blacks" African American is wrong. They say oh, they have no ties to africa, why should we call them African. I, as a "literal" African-American(dual citizenship), kinda agree with this. What do you think?

I dont think African Americans get mad or feel offended if we call them "black" and same thing for Caucasians.. or am i wrong??

My first thought was "Asians aren't exactly yellow", but then, whites aren't really white and blacks aren't really black. It is strange that it's still considered a racial slur to call an Asian "yellow", but it's become acceptable to refer to Africans and African-Americans as "black" and it was never insulting to call Caucasians "white".
