Let's study this carefully, shall we. It would seem that the majority of people are not against this social ill, but in ignoring this problem may be an irrepairable mistake. Let's take the country of Brazil for example. This is a nation that has a large population of mestizo's (Spanish mixed with Native Incan/Mayan), blacks, and a very small population of white Europeans. This is a country that is poor, uneducated, and racked by epidemic violence. In Rio De Janeiro, Brazil's signature city, it has suffered over 60'000 murders in the past 10 years. More than the entire casualty count of the Vietnam War. If you want an altar to the "benefits" of diversity and race-mixing, than Brazil is a fine example. This is what is to become of the United States. By the year 2050, the population of white European-Americans will be dwindled down to a mere 49%, the minority. By 2100, it is predicted that the United States will have a population of 21% European. There you have it, an all white nation in 1776, to become a third-world nation by the turn of the next century. To avoid the decay of society and civilization, all races and backgrounds of any kind must remain intact, never blur. Take communism, the blurring of class distinctions. Communism is a failed, and doomed from the beginning, form of government. Should this be allowed to pass, our nation and Western culture in the United States would collapse, bringing on the poverty, disease, and turmoil of third-world countries that we are so grateful to not endure in this present, but changing for the worst, time period. Protect, uphold, and especially cherish your historic traditions and culture, never let them fade by crossing those boundaries.

i think it is a great thing. i also think that mixing races would help dilute the segregation in our country, though no one should forget where they have come from. my first boyfriend was hmong and speaked a different language and my mom always told me that it would never work out. well it didn't but not because he was of a different race...i learned a lot from him and other relationships that i have had, even though they didn't work out. i have had a few mexican boyfriends too; my current boyfriend is half mexican...but anyway, i think that it is a good thing. people should be able to look past the skin and into the heart, because that's how you fall in love; with the heart and not the eyes.

Race shouldn't be an issue however it is a reality that many people face. As a child of a black father and costa rican mother, I have been privileged to be able to have two different cultural upbringings that supplement each other. As a result ,my life has enriched by both and it has inturn given me a outlook in life where race is not an issue.

I think diluting races is the best thing that could happen to the world. IT would totally wipe out all segregation for lack of knowing what race an enemy is. I hope that it happens one day, I really do.

I believe that interracial dating is a good thing. One view suggests that interracial dating is a disgrace or it makes people forget about there ancestry. I don't think it does. Interracial marriages are alright, btw I come from one. One of my parents is Phillipino and my other one is Polish or u can pretty much say white. Many marriages happen like this all the time and people see through the outside and understand the reason why they love each other. In interracial marriages, good parents tell their children to remember both sides of their heritage and not to be ashamed of there history. Interracial dating helps people understand other people better and gets ideas and culture traded between them. Cultural things such as food, or customs. You can already tell that America is full of thousands of different cultures because of the many interracial marriages.

Love is blind. You can't help who you fall in love with, it's not something you conciously decide. You don't look at someone and say, Whoa, i'm going to fall in love with him today. I'm sure many of you can tell stories about how you wished you hadn't of fallen for who you feel for, but you can't help it, so why try? One of my closest and oldest friends comes from a white mother and a black father. The marriage of her parents didn't last, but they did end up having two kids, my best friend and her brother, who are some of the funniest, nicest people that you could hope to meet. Mixing races isn't wrong, although, I'm from the South, and there are a lot of close-minded, old-fashioned white folks down here. My grandparents aren't exactly all that accepting of blacks, and my older sister, who wants nothing more in life than to please my entire family, used to hope that she wouldn't fall in love with someone who was black, becasue she knew that our grandparents wouldn't approve. I, on the other hand, used to hope that I would fall in love with a nice, clean-cut black man, and be able to prove to my grandparents that contrary to their belief, blacks are not bad people, and that mixing races is fine, because who you fall in love with is not up to you.

I believe that when other people hang out w/ diffrent races it has a tendency to wear off on them,and they try t be something that they are not. i personaly dont believe it is a good idea that we are all just thrown in together.But hey who's to say we can't. After all this is a "Free Country" i guess in some sort of odd distored way

And about the culture thing. I don't know about you, but I think the more backgrounds, the more interesting! I love studying other cultures!

i think interacal dateing is fine.I do't think people need to worry about one race dieing out b/c of mixing.i also think that it would be hard but can be done. the children aren't going to be confused and not know both cultures unless their parents do not know. no one every said life would be easy but if 2 people love each other and are willing to try and make it work, then there is nothing wrong with it.

alright, i kow this topic can get pretty hott sometimes. so i'm no going to try and shut down neone elses views. all i have to say is what i think.....the only thing i draw the line at in my relationships is spiritual and moral aspects. being a Christian means that i must abide to God's law through His Word in the Bible when He tells us "not to become unequally yoked" meaning that i cannot just go and marry a Jew or Mormon or somebody like that. it would bring too much conflict into the household. i would need someone who holds the same views as me in every way. and since my motto has become "never date anyone that you wouldn't consider marrying eventually" i have to relate that as well. still, this gives no reason to exclude Blacks from my prospect; in any way shape or form. they can have the same morals as Whites. and a LOT of them are more romantic than most of the White Guys i know. in fact, i think that Black guys are FINE!!! not like it's the most important thing, but it certainly DOES help matters. well, that's all i really wanted to say. think about it.
