hi just passing by but...i thought i might say something. i am a Caucasian-American-Male if you want to put a label on it, but i do know a LOT about my racial origins: im half Swedish half Italian & proud of it! when it comes to interracial dating, i personaly have a preference for Asian chicks, Hawaiian Chicks, and Native American chicks.

I would like to start off by saying, I am experienced in "interracial dating" seeing as my boyfriend and I have been together for two years. I do not believe there is a problem with it. As for the whole, "how do we raise the children" factor...you talk about that BEFORE marriage. Dating and marriage are completly different categories. With anyone you'll have to give up somethings for your children. But, what do children have to do with dating? There's no problem with dating someone of a different race. If I had such a racist view God would have never allowed me to be as happy as I am now with my boyfriend. Sure, there's some difficulties to get through...there are a lot of ignornant people in the world. But, we were able to deal with them. And yes, we do plan on getting married. I would just like to say, if you completely block out one (or more) categories of people you might miss the chance of meeting the most wonderful person. Think about that.

I think that interracial isn't a bad thing. It doesn't matter if they are not the same skin color. It doesn't matter what religion they are or where their family or even the person came from. I'm in a interracial relationship now. I love and care about him. I wouldn't deny it to anyone or myself. If you care and/or love someone who is different than you, it isn't wrong to try a relationship with that person.

I think in the end, the lowest common denominator is u cant stop people dating interracially, its up 2 them. I personally would never date outside my race, because i do not find females of other races attractive. That is my right as a man, and similarly if a white guy only fancys zimbabwe tribes women or whatev, it is his right to persue them.
I would personally find it odd to see one of my mates with a black/asian etc girlfriend. Its exactly the same as a pomeranian with a chiuaha (r however u spell it).

There is nothing wrong with interracial dating. As long as everyone is happy then everything's cool. I believe that age, race, and all that other crap goes right out the window when love comes walkin in.

I think if the loves there, than it shouldn't matter what the person's race, gender, age, or anything else is. I've dated guys, shorter, taller, older, younger, mexican/american, black/white, 14-20 yrs. old, and I wouldn't change that for anyone! I'm still in contact with most of them, and am still friends with most of them. It just shouldn't matter. If I'd listened to my parents, than I wouldn't have some of the greatest guyfriends in the world! I would have totally missed out! Peace
