My biological father is a racist and I hate it. He constantly breaks my heart the way he is if I ever do something wrong he calls me the N word which pisses me off. I hate racist I hate their beliefs I hate anyone who is racist. I am a chrisitian and believe everyone is a child of god and everyone desevers respect. I have liked many black guys(white guys and every other race out there) but havn't been able to go out with them because of my father even though he is a hundred and like 50 miles away because I know my dad would probably and literally kill me and the guy if he ever caught us together. Wish their were more people in the world like all of you I wish my father was like all of you and I wish he would get off his high horse and change I mean what is so good about him anyway that he discriminates against other people. However, I support this all the way and say love who you love and nothing else should matter.

Someone explain to me why it would be wrong...I don't think I quite understand what the ****ing problem is. Two people fall in love. Period. It shouldn't matter whether or not they are from different races...OR the same sex, for that matter.

I've never dated someone who was outside my race because guys outside my race don't show interest in me, and I am more attracted to white guys. But three of my closest friend's aren't Caucasion (one's mixed--half black, half white--, and the other to are Hispanic) so I don't have a problem with interracial dating. My dad might be reluctant at first for me to bring home a black guy. He's not racist, he would just be more apprehensive than if I was dating a white guy. But honestly, even if my dad hated the guy that I dated, it wouldn't matter to me, no matter what race he is, because my dad is not the one dating me, and he isn't in our relationship. But if I liked a black guy, and a black guy liked me, than I would have no problem dating him. It has just happened that the black guys that I have met would rather be my friend than boyfriend, and I would rather be their friend than their girlfriend. But there is nothign wrong with interracial dating. You can't control who you love, it just happens. Maybe I'm being naive, but I don't see why anyone would have a problem with it. I mean, we're all people. We might not have the same skin color, or history or background, but what the **** does that matter? My best friend is mixed, as are her brother and sister, and her and her siblings are some of the best people that I have ever known. It doesn't matter if you date someone outside, or inside, your race, as long as the relationship is not causing you or the other person any harm.

Ok for me, it's nothing. As a matter of fact I like dating other races. But for my dad, well thats another subject.He thinks whites with whites...blacks with blacks....and there's no way im allowed to date a black guy. but if he wanted a black woman its something different. People need to stop with the double standard crap. It's old.

First of all interacial dating is a learning experience,it takes an open minded person to not even see color, a person is a person.Its like having the best of both worlds and learning more about another, to see if you really like it.In the world now its such a "melting pot" already, meaning alot of people have already gotten past the barrier of race and we're just people. I speak strongly on this topic because I am an interracial dater and when we're together it's just us and nothing else not even race.

i have had a bf who was black and i am as pasty white as you can get. it has nuthin to do with colors, it has to do with hearts. hearts are wat fall in love not the color of your skin, so hmmmmm yup that does it\

I tend to not date anyone of my race. I don't do this because of their skin color, but because other races are too different and grew up with many views that are contrary to what I believe. Trust me, I'm not racist, but I just don't do that.

mixed races shouldnt matter. You can't help who you love, you just love them. Love is something that is in your heart, not your skin color. It shouldnt matter if ur fat, skinny, black, white, tan, whatever it shouldnt matter as u love that person.

I've never dated outside my race..but not because I'm racist, or because I choose not too..it's just an attraction thing I guess..although there are many guys of different races who I find very good looking, the majority of people I'm physically attracted to are white..but I have no problem with interracial dating at all. From when I was 13 until I was 15, I went to a school that was extremely diverse and had very few white friends. And most of my friends were in interracial relationships, so maybe because I've grown up with it and observed it all these years, it's like that.

As long as both people involved in the relationship are happy, I don't see how colour of skin should be any factor.

I can't stand racists, it's completely stupid to hate someone because of their skin colour. We're all the same colour when you turn out the lights..but there is still too many ignorant, small minded people who choose to discriminate.

there are alot of people on here saying it would feel weird or strange....serious, I mean I see some are feom the deep south and this and that. But what makes it so odd to you?? Is it because you are told by those around you it isn't right? Because your friends don't agree?? For me it never felt strange, not once!! I used to go places with their families, stay over their house...none of it ever felt strange. THe only time anything ever botherd me was when some racist ******* had to make something off it. I was walking across the NYU campus one time with my girlfriend at the time who was half black and half white. Some black guy starts circling us saying **** like the white man is taking our women, kill the white man...I just stood there watching him...I couldn't believe this guy. My girl was swearing at him. A kid in my school once had a problem too, but ummm...well one day after school he didn't anymore

But to me, only other people have made it strange. I never felt strange with any of the girls I was with. It bothers me that other people try to make it hard, ya' know gimmie your dirty look and keep walking...get over it!

awwe that sux for you, you miss out on some great people. You sound just like a friend of mine yesterday, he wouldn't go out with some people cause they were tryin' to hook him up with an Indian girl...I said screw you then, I'll take her out. Ok I see no problem with it and my family and friends dont see a problem with it right now I date a black guy and have dated pretty much only black guys I don't have anything against white people I just don't find them to be attractive. So to me interacial dating is fine.
