you can mock what Jesus said all you want, but you can't disprove a word of it. who are you to say that homosexuality is morally right or wrong. who are you to impose any sort of morality on anyone. you're just a washed up nobody. and if you mock the one true God now, you'll learn how idiotic you were to do that later when every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord.(Revalations)

Gay marrige is wrong. Period. Jesus told us in first Corinthians six nine to avoid even hanging out with homosexuals.

I think gay marrigaes r well sort of stupied.(sry if i offended anyone) If they get married their gonna want kids right? Well i think it would be unfair to the kids cause what if they get teased about it. Some kids will find any reason to bug other kids and thats just anotherchance for them to bug the kids.

i dont see why people are making it their business... how other people want to live their lives should be up to the individual, not to the rest of the world. If being gay is waht makes a person happy, then why should they hide from it...thats just dumb!

with all of the divorces of married people these days, we should have the gay or "alternative" marriges..... those might acutally last longer and be more successful.... you shouldnt deny the unity of marrige to the "traditional" couples... thats discrimination, and its unjust and not right! """if i have offended""" ___Not so much offended as didn't make a valid enough point to matter in the first place. God doesn't control all American life, that's where the whole 'freedom of religion' thing comes to play.

Someone told me this today.."The Lord above intended it to be Adam and Eve and not Adam and Steve......" i think thats just wrong... why should the world discriminate someone based on their sexuality???? why should we let something like this interfere with the world while life is so short? thats just something i will never quite understand.... 1. whether or not its any of ur business, gay marriages do not affect you so y in the world would u care... 2. paintbucket- bush making it illegal or whatever would not be in the best intrest of everyone only u and closeminded people. 3. dont go and try to fix peoples so-called imperfections when u havent fixed urs yet 4. people are always saying that gay people shouldnt be allowed to marry because its a sin...well look at urself. i bet u that u sin about everyday..but lets not bring religion into this 5. another thing, ur god is not everyone elses god...i have many friends of different religions who dont believe in my god and some who dont believe in god at all...so dont bring god into this because some people are probably really confused (if they dont believe in ur god) with all the talk about god and certain sins 6. just let the gay people get married...its not as if they are going to strap u down an make u watch them have sex or somin just cuz they are married MAIN POINT- it DOES NOT concern YOU!!! xoxo, Emily
theres nothing worse than a person who lives in a little box not accepting things that are normal

CrazyblondeAbby,
1. For everyone's sake please do not use the over quoted "God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve." For one, not everyone believes in God so therefore 'God's' opinion really can't dictate how people live their lives. Secondly, I thought "God" created everyone and LOVED everyone regardless whether or not they had sinned. Also if "God" had made everyone then he made gay people.
2. What ever gave you the idea that unmarried homosexual couples do not have sex? Aids is not strictly a disease for gay people either. Many straight people get Aids.

Thanks, swimmer88, that the only argument against gay marriage is that some people were brought up in a religious atmosphere, with the twisted "morals" of modern American christianity.

I agree with Drew, it's noone else's bussiness who your married to and wether that person just happens to be the same sex as you... that's there choice.... it's not like that person woke up one day saying hmm i think when i grow up i'm going to marry someone of the same sex... that's just the way it happened, and if your in love know one can break that love that those two people share wether it's a gay marriage or a straight marriage

I totally agree with those who say that they: #1: Don't have any problems with homosexuality #2: It isn't the government's or anyone's business what people do behind closed doors as long as it's really consentual (I dont' mean that 50 year old men should be having sex with 13 year old girls because she says yes.... that's not what I mean...I mean that gay people should be allowed to have sex and get married!) #3: The whole ban is stupid because most of the people who are against it, including our (stupid) president only have religious problems with gay marriages. And if you haven't heard, separation of church and state is one of the principles our country was founded on. To ban gay marriages is completely inappropriate. The end!

I think that if you are in love; get married it's as simple as that. You shouldn't care if someone else wants to marry someone of the same gender because (excuse me if i'm being harsh) it's not any of your buisness!
Sincerly yours,
Drew

I am sorry. There is nothing unnatural about homosexuality. It occurs in other animals not just humans. And if it is not natural how does one "Become" gay?

"""God made Adam and Eve""" ___God has nothing to do with the laws everybody is forced to live by. Do you even know what it means to have freedom of religion? It means stop pretending you can order people to live the way you do just because they're different.

What business is it of ours to tell someone they can't marry someone that they love? Who are we? Isn't everyone entitled to their individual preferences? Land of the free? If two people of the same sex wants to get married, then let them go. It's not like we are living their life for them. If you believe that they are going to "hell" or it's against your spiritual belief deal with it. Just because you and people who think like you don't feel that same sex marriage is right doesn't give you the right to stop them. The U.S. is supposed to be about freedom, so why can't they have the freedom to marry who they want?

"why then does the state have the right to force churches to wed homosexuals " Uh, the state DOESN'T have the right to force churches to wed homosexuals...they already won't marry any couple if both parties aren't part of their church. They usually won't marry previously divorced Christians, or people who have not attended church in the past few years. So I don't see what the big deal is, if they don't have to have anything to do with the marriage.
