America does not truly recognize a separation of church and state. We have god on our money, in our pledge to the nation, and in our national anthems. Homosexuals want the right to marry, because heterosexuals have that right, and in America, every individual is equal (which was so eloquently stated in our Constitution). Therefore, any American, regardless of gender, should have the right to marry whom he or she pleases. Also, not all homosexuals are married in churches, or are even Christian. People can get married by someone with a marriage license; the Church does not need to be a part of the ordeal.

Stupidity, get your facts straight sweetie. Christians believe in marriage as a holy bond between a MAN and a WOMAN. We're NOT against marriage, but God created humans not to live in homosexuality. And it's not just a religious belief, either. It's just not natural. You don't see male monkeys going out and hooking up with other male monkeys. And, if people would honestly consider their bodies, the male and female have specific organs that are designed for each other. Not for the same sex. It was not God's design for them to work any other way.
