Off topic, but Sigmund Freud was somewhat of a quack. Alright, he had his moments, but after reading through a few of his books and letters last year.. as a part of my researsh on Jungian psychology.... yeah. It was actually quite humorous. C.G. Jung complained in his writings that Freud was blaming practically every psychological disorder patients had on the oedipus complex or some other sexually frustrating problem.

Were you refering to me, cause I'm the only one who said I used to be christian. Anyway, God has no control over me or anyone else, God did not create me (my parents made me without divine intervention), in a sense I am better than God because I exist and He doesn't, I have no belief in God and if He wants to send me to Hell, I really, really reeeeeally don't care. To you being raped by Satan and his demons is a nightmare, to me it's a dream. So you worry about yourself and I'll worry about me. And Sunset will worry about herself as well, for what we believe (or don't believe) is not your concern.

Someone gay, COULD carry on a relationship with someone of the opposite sex, I’m sure it has/had/will happen.

If I was gay, I would still be Christian, Because I know Jesus is right. However, knowing how God feels about homosexuality, I would choose a life of celibacy, many straight men do this anyway.
I don't really think I was born straight though. There is something about pre-programmed sexuality that just doesn't make sense to me. I mean, is favorite color pre-programmed? Or your sense of style? I think your sexual preference is something you work at, I believe there is a point you do choose, but it is a choice you can't go back on, and it is made very subconsciously, it isn't literal, "Ben or Sally... Ben!", but just the idea crosses your mind, and you pursue it, and once you decide what you like, then that is locked in, nothing else will do.
You can change being Christian. You can't change being Gay. So what you just said has no relation to anything. Try this; Try liking guys. It won't work. You can change religions. Correct?

First of all most people base their morals on what they think is right which happens to agree with some of what the bible says. Second, it says in the bible that God's law is written on our hearts when we fully surrender to him. Thirdly, why wouldn't we base what's right or wrong on our belief of what is right and true?

Sunset, this argument is logical but you're forgetting that humans are naturally illogical. If you think about it Christians are made fun of and abused for much of the same reasons. you don't know much about it because it happens in other countries, and to a lesser extent here. Still people in those countries choose to be Christians.

It matter who you love to a great extent, it matters that you love God and if you love God than you would do anything to please him. You can't love God and Sin at the same time, it's being lukewarm and the bible teaches against that.

There have been women who have said they were raped by their priest as children. It's not as publicized because the homosexual side of the story is more shocking to the public.
