Back to point, really think about how a gay person would feel about the situation, going beyond the marriage issue. If you were gay (try to use your speck of imagination, ok?) and you were in highschool (yeah, you should be in highschool, if we trust you are not lying) and say, you could not take your lover to your senior semi. They would not allow you to buy tickets. Other than the fact that it positively SCREAMS discrimination, how would you feel? Would you stand out on a freezing NH winter night to hand out flyers to those allowed to go, just so any gay people following you through the school would have a headway made already?
The girl I have a crush on did, and you know what? A lot of the teachers hate her. A lot of the kids give her hell. People in her sociology class sit there and mutter '****' at her.
Would you, in all honesty choose something like that? Would you choose to be hated if you could just 'repent' and become not gay? I can tell you now, I sure as hell would think about the choice long and hard, if it was possible.

I agree with Tally 100%. Nattynaps, when has Tally ever discouraged gays from attending church? He only said that they should not have the privelage of being married if they are going to abuse it like they are already trying to do.
everyone that attends church is a sinner. If you consider gays as sinners than you should be encouraging them to go to church, not trying to keep them away from the church.

You base your ideas on the bible, you never mentioned any other "books". Please don't assume that I don't read. I read books and magazines everyday for hours at night, mainly fiction books, but who cares.
