i am from northen ireland. i was recently reading about discrimination and can i just say that you should all come over here and see how you get on. you cant go down the street with out being critised for your religion.i am protestant and if i ever went into a catholic area i would not come out alive. it has ruined our education with schools being burnt down. people have been killed for 30 years non stop and there is no way of solving it. early last month a protestant was stuck to a wooden cross and nailed to it for visiting a friend in a catholic area. it is a beautiful place but the population are sick ad twisted.
How would you feel if EVERY year a parade was put on in your neighborhood, where people marched on how much of a "dirty taig" you are, and how "Superior" they are?
How am I a bigot? I dont think Im superior to prodestants in any way. How does wanting to defend my people from harm make me a bigot?

And AFTER that, the really nasty ones come BACK and beat up a few people. Maybe burn down a few houses.

Dont put it like the Protestants are the opressed ones. ive seen the Bogside, the remenants of the burned houses the Orangemen inflict on the Catholics.Im Catholic, and pretty damn proud of it. Its not long ago at all, it NEVER stopped. The English trying to stomp out our religion.

I can't seem to understand how people can kill in the name of God. In the countless religions of our world, the one thing that they have in common is teaching you to do good. People should always remember that they are going against everthing that they're advocating for when they kill other human being because thay don't agree with you. It makes me angry inside that people can say this is because they love God. We are all God's children and killing your own brothers and sisters in the name of our father seems ridiculous to me. If you can't agree, at least think of God when you're doing all of these things. Is this what he wants to happen to his children? Well at least we now know that the future generation of Ireland is agsinst this kind of violence. I hope you guys, we you are the leaders of your country, can work together as brothers and sisters and love each other just like we did here in the States with Caucasians and African-Americans. Just as you shouldn't be judged by your color, you should never be judged by your religion either. null
This is why I don't understand organized religion. How could people with so much hate in them think they are doing what God wants? I'm sorry about what you have to go through Jennie. I was raised Catholic, and I'm just glad I'm living here and not in Ireland. People should get over the religious conflicts already. It's so Dark Ages.
