Now my original intend on this topic was the question of Nigger being a word reserved for racist. In example the "Manifesto of Ascendancy for the modern American Nigger" a article printed in Equire, the author received several letters calling him a "racist". Obviously these people didn't get past the first sentence, "LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT NIGGERS."

I actually haven't read To Kill a Mockingbird, I must have somehow missed it.

My theory on things is that words are just words, but if you know somebody is going to be offended by them, don't use them, if you think there is something wrong with using a word, don't use it.

Our culture is very sketchy on what is right and wrong, and is very subjective, it kinda sucks.

There is a huge difference in reading the word in a literary classic like To Kill a Mockinbird and hearing some SOB use it in the street. I have no problem reading it in a book, but I am offended when I hear it.
