Yeah, see I think God was trying to destroy conservative states, if anything, with Katrina and Rita. Not "immoral" people as the idiotic bible-thumpers advocate.

Lmfao... Oh that sent me into a fit... But it's been found that birds actually have higher rates of homosexuality than any other classification.

It's Texas. Whaddya expect?

It's a shame, but it's not exactly a crushing blow. Gay marriage is only being seriously considered in states that are very liberal to begin with. My guess is that a few liberal states will legalize gay marriage in the coming years, and when Armageddon doesn't happen, the more moderate states (and finally the conservative ones) will start to see that legalizing gay marriage isn't the dangerous, radical idea they seem to think it is. Although Texas might take until the 22nd century.

It's true. My parakeet's a lesbian.

Is this too radical:

US OPPRESSION OF CITIZENS - BANS ON GAY MARRIAGE

FREEDOM FROM OPPRESSION - EQUALITY FOR ALL - LEGALIZE GAY MARRIAGE

-----""" if u believe in evolution u wouldn;t either because it is not the way "animals" are supposed to act."""---

Homosexuality has been observed in humans since the beginning of our recorded history, and frequently observed in the wild. In fact it's not uncommon for male/female pairs of birds to stay together for life and "adopt" eggs from nearby nests. There've been male lions obseverd who have sex with other male lions, various species of monkeys with females who pair up only with other females...it's not strictly a human case, and even if it was, and even if it was "unnatural", it's not hurting anyone and wouldn't affect you, so why the hell wouldn't you let them get married.

-----""" the majority is speaking here, and frankly i think they're right."""---

In the 1940's, the majority also thought schools should be segregated by race. The majority is sometimes wrong, especially when it comes to dealing with minorities.

-----"""gays just want the tax beinifits from being married."""---

Umm...no. Although that WOULD be the fair thing to do. Married couples get insurance benefits through insurance plans, health coverage, financial, on houses. When a married person dies, their spouse gets money from insurance companies, some businesses, or the military if they're in the military. Comitted gay couples get none of that, married straight couples get all of it. Doesn't really seem fair...

So do straights. Does that mean we should ban straight marriage as well? No? Well why not? Because straights love each other? Are gays incapable of love?

I swear, people are getting stupider and stupider...

Does it really matter... because if its ust about taxes and what not... then they should ban marriage all together. Whats equality? If you don't take it into consideration then you are against equality. People are people... does it really matter who someone marries?

Just how are "animals" supposed to act? Homosexuality has been observed in many species of animals in the wild. Humans are not unique in that respect. Nature, as irony would have it, is queer.

Ah, the age-old "majority is always right" mentality. Frankly, I think you're wrong. Obviously, it's the minority who's always right. The majority only believe what they are told. The minority generally think for themselves. That's why they're a minority.

to ban or not to ban that is the question. it all comes back to how do u define marriage? man and woman? i think that is how it was meant to be. god or evolution? if u believe in god u will not agree w/ gay marriage, if u believe in evolution u wouldn;t either because it is not the way "animals" are supposed to act.
