I felt all bad in the past by coming on here and basically pointing my finger at other people's views (they called them "Christian") and lifestyle choices, but no more.

What hasn't been discussed much is the fact that as Christians, we have a purpose to judge according to someone's fruits, their "seasons" and their choices they make.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm a hypocrite, and a sinner, and I don't always follow the Word like I should, but that doesn't mean I can't judge a person on what they do or say.

You can look up all the verses you want, but pay attention to the root "judge."

God says to judge, so remember that in the next round of posts I or any other Christian on this board makes.

And get ready for backlash.

zest, yeah, we're made hetrosexual. And homosexuals were made to be gay. You just ARE, just like I am just a girl and you a guy. Did we choose to be this way? No. So why did gays?

'God made everyone,' didn't he? So he made gays.

quote:
you're vagina was made for tongues

And Comrade DOESN'T have a vagina... and that was very gorss. Please say something that relates to the topic.

To go along with that ever heard of love the sinner not the sin? IT's a very basic idea in the bible.

Maybe Gem...it has something to do with this sort of stuff. If anyone can find this quote in the Bible...YOU WIN A PRIZE(possibly even a whole new IQ)!

Yes friends, you can't find it in the Bible...it's not there. It is actually a market scam used by Churches in the seventies. Remember bumper stickers anyone? Well...obviously we do...because that phrase is not in the Bible at all...it was a very popular bumper sticker in the seventies...and well...I guess it still is! Wink

Okay, that was very badly written, but I do seem to be able to comprehend that you think God made gays just because he doesn't like them.

Great. You are an enligtened thinker.

Yes joey, there is such thing as righteous judgement. I did talk a bit about that. But we are not to be arrogant and we are not to judge without taking action. To go along with that ever heard of love the sinner not the sin? IT's a very basic idea in the bible. Aswell, how can you be loving if there is "Blood and gore" on the streets, "Yes, let's follow in the footseps of the crusades and not learn our lesson" (sarcasm) seriously.

ComradeSmurf, when was that Chritstianity in it's purest form? yes we're called to take up our cross and follow Jesus. Sacrificing just means that we don't allow it to get in the way of God. I have a Car, Clothes and some money but if i got the call i would get rid of it all to do what Jesus wanted me to. That's Christianity in it's purest, following God and what God says.
No christianity isn't a religion, if you feel that way you're not a true christian. Christianity isn't following rules because those are the rules, christianity is a personal relationship with jesus where tyou follow the rules because you love jesus.

Sunset, there's a difference between choosing to be heterosexual and choosing otherwise. you could say that we chose to be heterosexual but the main point of that is that we're made heterosexual, what you're saying is thyat you're ***** was made for tongues.

Abortion is up to the person, like murder is up to the murderer. If you hire someone to kill a man, the courts will still find you responsible.

The main oint of avoiding hell is repentance. It says that the lord is willing that NONE should perish but that all would come to know Christ. meaning everyone including former murderers and rpaists. If you make one mistake should you pay for it the rest of your life? You should read Les miserables.

No, they brought all their possesions with them, with profit in mind, and subjugated instead of aided. The Classic "Christian" proselytizing is barely related to what the true Christian method would be.

Maybe if Christianity was followed in it's purest form, in which all devotees would give all of their material possesions to the poor and become traveling preachers, it could be considered something other than a religion.

But that's not how it is followed. If you're not going to call Christianity a religion, you CANNOT call yourself Christian.

The whole "Christianity is not a religion" thing is extremely arrogant, and based on silly and wrong little technicalities. It does not reflect the world in any way.

And second:

Hmmm...Christians standing up and shedding blood in the street? You know what that would be called????

A CULTURAL REVOLUTION.

YOU ARE A DISGUSTING, HYPROCRITICAL HORE.

You have a "calling?" And what the hell might that be, you little spore?

I didn't say we had to love their actions, and neither did Jesus....

If I engaged in pre-marital sex and impregnated my girlfriend, I would strongly discourage her from aborting the child... I could say, "Absolutely not!" but in the end I am not the one who would make the decision. I may not agree with someone who has an abortion, but as hard as I may argue, I am ultimately not responsible for their decision.
We can try to discourage people from taking such action, but the decision should ultimately rest with each individual, who must deal with the consequences of that action. It should not lie with a court, and it certainly should not be the whim of a man who frequently claims the moral high ground while flouting the commandments of the religion he uses to justify his actions.
