I don't know where I stand on this topic. I used to be all for a woman's right to choose. I was also (and still am) against the death penalty. But I never connected the two issues in my mind, not until I overheard my older sister and my mother talking. She was talking about hypocritical liberalists who support abortion and are against the death penalty, people who feel it's ok to kill an innocent baby but feel it's not ok to kill a criminal. Then she laughed. It was like a slap to the face, I had never thought of it that way before. But then again, with abortion being legal there are still more orphans then acceptable adoptive parents. Which is better? To end a child's life before they have a chance to suffer all alone in this cruel world or to give up that child to an orphanage where they may be neglected or abused? It's a really touchy subject isn't it? Maybe one day I'll understand how I feel about it.

abortion is wrong. because it is murder. your killing an inocent child. no matter what abortion is always gonna be wrong. anythine that you kill an inocent person it is wrong.

I think it is wrong when people use it to get out of responsibilty, but if there is something wrong with the baby that could kill the mother, or make that child's life painful, then I would go for it. Using it to get out of responsibilty is totally wrong and unfair. That child could of been the next president, or Mozart, or the person who brings world peace.

Blitzbop, you have a serious case of myopia. YOU have to open your mind up a little bit, please. Sure, it's the mother's choice, but not every choice is a GOOD thing. And the situation doesn't matter, you're still killing an innocent child, aren't you?

Wow, you just generalized an entire group of people and totally dismissed their reasons for being pro-life, but somehow they're the narrow minded ones. Ever hear of "self-projection?"

It depends on the person's views if it is. In my views, it's terribly wrong; you're ending a life before it had a chance to begin. The "mother" is also in the line of breast cancer, severe bleeding, sever infection, and death. I don't see how anyone has anything to gain from it.

But, like I said, it's all about opinion.
