I didn't say that women shouldn't work. The idea that women and men should be equal is the madness I am critising.
I can imagine a nation which enforces this equality. 50-50 men-women army. Labourers, builders, etc 50-50 men-women. 50-50 man-woman caring for the children.
Its sick. Conventional gender roles people. Theres never been anything unconventional about women secretarys, hair-dressers, etc etc. When I see a woman army general I am going to throw up.
Men earn more money than women because earning money is they're role.

There is a reason mens and womens hips are there relative shapes. There is a reason mens and womens shoulders are the shape they are.

Sorry to talk in fragments, but I have too many points to make.

It is actually beneficial for a country to allow women to do the same jobs as men. Why? Well, for starters it increases the size of the workforce. This becomes especially important when the majority population of a country gets too old to work. If you've only got men doing certain things, soon enough, you won't have enough men to do them. They'll all have retired to cardboard boxes or country clubs. Adding women in essentially doubles the work force.

Thank you Clpo.

Japan has the smallest amount of women in management positions compared to other major economic powers, such as the United States and European countries.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Eh, that thought wasn't completely formed. But I'm sure at least some of you get my meaning.

You're talking in fragments.

What is so wrong with a society that rises above steryotypes and set lines? Those lines kill some of us, you know. I really mean that.

I wonder how this communist ideology survived. This idea that women are the same as men and vice versa - and therefore they should do the same things and receive the same things.

Feminists should note this: Feminism puts the birth rates of nations/cultures which suffer from it below the replacement level. You can argue it, but that won't change the cold hard truth.

Men have they're place and they're roles, so do women, marxist idealogy which rejects this must be stopped - for the good of Europe, America, Australia and Japan.

Costing you and your families? You can start your attack by explaining that.

I think she will be running to my knowledge Shade. And it better happen before I die or else! *shakes fist*

Oh and please don't apologize. I'm sorry that you are going through that. There are so many forms of discrimination still around that it's quite upsetting. Frown

But not all women Shade.

This is true. Frown I'm sorry; I feel attacked at all fronts. I can't seem to do my favourite activities anymore. The tv says one thing, commercials say something slightly different, videogames are completely warped, and the movies are just...something different.

Isn't Hilary C running for president?

The original idea of feminism was good, it was awesome.

That is true, I agree Shade.

No, but the opinion is turning from equality to being better. Have you seen commercials? Have you heard women talk? They're degrading us left and right!!

But not all women Shade. I believe in equality. Not in saying or believing that we are better than men or that they are below us. I just want to be treated equally. I ask for no more than that. And I know that it is very hard for some men to understand that. That is why it is so unlikely that we will have a woman president. If we ever do, I swear I'll fall off my chair.

The original idea of feminism was good, it was awesome. It actually gave transsexuals the courage to stand up for themselves, too, but not anymore...

There is definietly still sexism in our country today and it is true that men are able to earn more money than women.
There has never been a women president even if there are many women who are just as qualified to run our country, (anyone is certainly much better than our current president.) Also why is it more surprising when a women holds a position as a CEO then when a man holds the same position. Even if there is "equal rights" women still are not held equaly.

He brought up a good point: women have sex appeal. Now what's to stop a woman from using this to get a promotion, or a raise?

You know, women who do this just sickens and upsets me. And you know what also upsets me? Men that believe that every woman will us this to her advantage. I know that some women do, but I wouldn't either. It's like they believe we don't have a brain or we don't need to use it. Now, I'm not saying all men, there are some out there though.

And you know what, I think that some men might have an advantage on sex appeal and appearance. I wouldn't be surprised if someone got a promotion based on that.

I was talking about what you were talking about.

Do you know some other opinions on this? Women have an advantage in the work field. Now I didn't say this, and don't think I'm sexist because of it ( because I really do hate everyone equally ). He brought up a good point: women have sex appeal. Now what's to stop a woman from using this to get a promotion, or a raise? Not everyone is above that; I wouldn't be if I was a woman. But can you see guys doing it? *thinks* No, nope, not really.

My take on it? It's entirely unfair. If you get hired should not have anything to do with what gender you identify as, and what rights in the workplace you have should have nothing to do with what sex you are, and how much money you are paid over anyone else should not have anything to do with that. ..Also, car insurance rates are biased. Wink

Also, what about the rest of us who don't get paid as much/can't get jobs/lose money?

Are you talking about minimum wage and the shortage of jobs?

And by the rest of us, I mean those of us who can't be one, and aren't the other.

You know what, I had not thought about that. That is a good question. There is so much discrimination towards so many groups. It's upsetting. What is your personal take on that Shade?
