Teenage tends to flee away from home especially during the period of rebelling. They claim that parents tend to control their freedom and doubt on their judgment. However, did they ever consider that they are easily influence and indulge into illicit activities? Parents are just trying to protect them. Parents loves you, if not they would not be bothered to comment anything on you. That is just their unique way to express their concern. They would not be so free to bring u up into this world and torture themselves by bickering with you. Although sometimes, the way they concern maybe quite over. Thus, don’t you think rebellion should consider their conduct and be grateful instead of resenting all the way?

It really depends on the situation. Sure kids that run away simply because they think their parents are jerks should just be more patient and/or get over it but sometimes kids run away from abusive situations. Abuse isn't simply physical either. What is simple "over-protection" to one teen may be psychologically damaging to another and running away may be their only way to call attention to that problem.
