Why are some of these threads suddenly being erased of past posts?

Many people need to understand what the scientific evidence actually is before they form opinions on gay people and why they are gay.

If gay people had the mind of a man or a woman, whichever is the opposite sex for the individual, they would not be a homosexual. Instead, they would be a transgendered person.

yes I know that! duh...i was just saying that because thats what some kids used to think at my school...until other kids finally told them they were wrong...so imagine what other teens could be thinking...if someone could think up that...

Ya, I agree. There will always be those types of people that will hate no matter what. Look at what the Civil Rights Movement did to White Pride groups. It only made them more upset. All the while, however, they became less popular with most of the American population.

I'm sure all schools are going to have some people who are homophobic. At my school, here in Minnesota, there are lots of homosexuals, and most of them are up front about it. Sure, theres the bitc*es who dont give a rats *** about making fun of people for being gay. Some people try to get all scientific about the matter, saying that the only reason people are gay is because of they have the mind of a man or women. But whatever. It doesnt matter where you live. There will always be the total homophobic people!

I know where you are coming from CitricAcid, I was there once, still sort of am. I was never a "metro" and haven't ever been, but still, I understand and sympathize. I wrote my story of what happened a few pages back.

I realize you only have one post. Have you switched your name from something? Or are you really new?

My school is in MA and quite conservative too. Just because it's MA doesn't mean that there won't be conservatives.

Even though I live in Massachusetts there is a lot of homophobia in my school. I don't have anything against homosexuality but i do get teased constantly because people think that I am gay. The truth is i'm a metrosexual and it hurts to be called something I'm not. However my school is the only school in the area that is so conservative. I'm getting transferred to a high school in a nearby town. So...Hope this helps.

Yeah, google search might do it. Make sure they're avatars, small ones, not the larger pictures. If I were on my own computer, I'd show you a link to some pretty neat JTHM ones. You could search the web with your subject+avatars. Sometimes there're good sites, sometimes not. I find yahoo is better if you search by website.

Ya, I know. No, I didn't know how you got yours. So do I just fdo to like google image search or something? And then go the "options" (or whatever) page to put it in as my avatar? I don't know though, I still like the freedom of not being identified by a picture...

Then find one on the internet. Where'd you think I got mine? And it makes it easier to locate someone down the page.

Believe me, I know what you mean. I know I was hard-pressing you. Why should I get an avatar? And what if I don't like the ones they have available?

I wasn't being dense; I was being rough. I wanted you to try and prove your point. I understand the simplicity and yet the complexity of a metaphor, but I wanted you to be able to explain it. You said it well enough in your last paragraph. Thanks for your time, I guess I did end up pushing the envelope, and so I apologize for upsetting you with my antagonism.

If you mind my saying so, you are somewhat dense. The point of a metaphor is not to be exact. It would not be a damned metaphor if it were homosexuality based. Whatever. It's common sense, Free. You can be afraid of anything no matter how big or small it is. Wait. This sounds familiar. Oh yeah, I've said it before. Oh, and I am neither a piece of land or homosexual, but nor am I heterosexual, so I believe I can say anything I want? Homosexuals, heterosexuals, bisexuals, neutral people. Hell! When did we become so afraid in this country to not be able to be one thing if you're another? Whatever, you wouldn't get that either.
