So i'm taking this class and one last class we did this exercise that kinda went like this. Say what ethnicity you are and then what people assume about you...it was really interesting to see all the subtle ways we as a society are still very involved with racism.

I'm mexican (though i don't look it) and i worked in a factory over the summer. another worker after finding out my dad was mexican asked if he worked in the factory implying that all mexicans work in factories while in actuality he's a loan officer for a bank.

my firend think i don't eat and i'm like a bored line anorexic when she is underwight and i'm a heathy wiahgt she would stave herslef 4 a day but i have eat like evry 3 hours ( i no it sounds really bad )

People think im sluty because i've dated alot of guy
People think I'm a bitch because I ignore them if i am pissed at them.
People think I'm ugly because I'm not stick skinny as some of them are. I'm average weight.
People think I should be fat because I'm american.

Who cares what people think? I tell myself not to care but it sometimes gets to me and it hurts.

People think I'm a snob because I'm from England and don't speak Welsh.

People think I hate men because I'm gay.
People think I worship the devil because I'm not Christian.

People think that i live in city cause i'm black
People think that im "white" cause i listen to rock and country
People think im a bitch cause i speak my mind

I learn not to care because my friends are awesome and no i wont change to fit into any sterotype

People think I'm rude because I'm shy
People think I'm lame because I have very few friends at school
People think I'm annoying because I don't always hear things correctly

I'm shy, so I don't talk to many people, which some people see as rude. People see I have like three friends at school, so they think I'm lame. I actually have more friends outside of school than at school, they just don't know that. And I don't hear things right all the time, I have trouble with hearing people sometimes, so whenever I have to ask what someone said over and over again, people get annoyed and think I'm doing it on purpose. But I really can't help it.

People think I'm innocent because I have freckles.
People think I'm stupid because I'm 50% polish.
People think I'm bulemic because I eat but don't gain any weight.
People think I'm a whore because I admit to not being a virgin.

People in my town are silly. :]

I can't help that I am short, it is cause of a medical reason I am 4 feet and 9 inches, but I am 21. Cause I am short, I not a thin short person, I am 130 lbs so according to the different weightloss websites I should be about 111 to 117, but if you ever see me you would say 120 would be best. Which I am working on getting back too.
I watch my nephews for my sister and causethey are with me almost every single day when I go to the store or somewhere else people tell me "Your children are so cute". I just say Thank You and leave it at that. Cause if you see my sister you would believe that they are mine. She's like a size zero and thinks she's fat.
Somepeople don't think I know what I'm talking about cause I can't really explain things right and when they come out it sounds all wrong, but I still try.

just because i'm fat doesn't mean i'm always hungry...truth betold i really don't eat that much, my brother eats way more than me and he gains no weight, he just gets taller. and i am smart but i have horrible grades, i choose(for some strange reason) to not do work.

People think I'm anorexic because I'm skinny.

Maybe in ConservativeLand that would be true...

People think I'm awesome because I'm conservative.

I have to be honest, this stereotype doesn't bother me all that much, sorry.

At school, people think I'm stupid because I have bad grades.

I don't have bad grades because I'm stupid. I have bad grades because I'm a slacker. I procrastinate too much, the best grade I have in school is a B in Geometry and half the class is failing... <(note that I'm left-brained)
