Found this interesting link. How do you feel about boycotting stores because of their choices around anti-gay propganda?! I think I'm going to not shop at any of these places...

Hmmm...the top two "anti-gay" businesses on the list happen to be the two largest corporations in the world: ExxonMobil and Wal-Mart.

*sigh*

So much for any hope of corporate social responsibility from the big guys. Different groups have boycotted these two corporations many times for various reasons, including environment, gender issues, labor rights, international relations...the list goes on. And despite all of the boycotts, Exxon and Wally-world are still the two largest corporations in the world.

Again, *sigh*

But to answer the question, I don't shop at any of those places to begin with. Ha!

you know what is just as bad as this? the portrayal of women in ads. it's disgusting. each day we are bombarded with commercials and pictures that show women in demeaning positions and getting attacked by men.

I would read if I were you "Two ways a woman can get hurt" by something Kilbourne. It will really open your eyes.
