How do you react to people who are not only idiots, but they're downright obnoxious to the point of driving you insane? Should we ignore them, be kind to them, or just go with our first instincts and yell/scream/punch their lights out? I really have been losing my patience with these kinds of people lately... URGG... Feel free to complain here, too, so that I don't feel alone in wanting to ring these people's necks. ;P

No don't make my mistake and hit them! It leads to more trouble than they're worth.

Or ignore them, ignoring doesn't work, they just become presistant.

Or yell verbal assults, you can't win with a stupid person, they don't understand wit, and an argument with them makes you sound just like an idiot.

Best way I've learned is to avoid them. Mixed with a bit of of ignoring when you meet them.
So if they say "Hi Jill" reply and act like they don't bother you, but if they start a conversation show no interest in it.

You're bound to leave these low-lives one-day-or-another and your problem will end itself.

Remember, they are not worth the hassel. You shouldn't even give them a second thought.

I know how you feel!!!! there are so many obnoxius people that i know, i swear that sometimes i just want to hit them! theres this one girl that cant keep her mouth shut ever!! i wish i had know what she was like from the begging because i told her a secret and she went and told that person as casually as day!! now i understand why nobody likes her! the worst part is that she follow me and my freind around because she thinks we like her!

What I hate is when someone says something infuriating and stupid and annoying but however stupid it is you can't think of a suitable response to it at the time. Then afterwards you think of something very dry and cutting and witty and wait around for them to say it again because THIS time, you're ready and you will definitely KICK THEIR ***.
And they never do.

However I have begun to learn to treat it as if nothing they are saying is very important (which it isn't) and isn't bothering me in the slightest (which it shouldn't) and visibly restraining myself from laughing at them. Which helps to shut them up.

It's a sad fact of life you just have to put up with sometimes. People are morons! You just have to remember that yes, they are morons therefore you don't have to pay attention to anything they're saying.

I also agree that some people have hidden depths so it's worth taking the time to have a closer look before you dismiss them as irredemable morons, but others are just not worth the effort.

Annoying people, I like to curse at them, threaten them, or have other people deal with them. When boys annoy me, I invent a boyfriend, a big one, in college, one of my sister's friends, who's rather possesive of me...and so on.

Some moron commenting on your clothing? I onced used this: "I have a rather sharp scissors in my purse. How much do you like your testicles?"

And if all else fails, run, run like hell.

Those new 'gummy sweet tarts' make execllent saps. When they've been sitting in a hot vending machine for a while, they melt and coagulate at one end. Grip the other end tightly, swing, and hit the offending individual in the head or fingers.

Idunno. There are quite a few people that I think are annoying and stupid, but you should at least try to see if there's anything under that. Like, there was this one guy in my gym class that I thought was really annoying-always trying to show off (and not doing that great of a job). But then one day in gym we had a free day, so I played basketball with him and a couple of other guys, and it was fun. He wasn't all that bad. Sure he can still be annoying and do some stupid things, but he's not that bad.
I must admit, though, that there are some that are so annoying and stupid that I can't even imagine trying to get to know them. But if you can, try to. You might find someone underneath the annoying and stupid.

I don't know, I guess I hate them in my own way or just ignore. Nut I'm so nervous that I sometimes scream. I t helps, but usually you feel helpless after that. This is how the society goes...

i guess we should feel lucky jill (unless your referring to me). i mean i don't really feel that i should give annoying and stupid people THAT much thought or consideration to begin with. they're wasting our air. that is all. i let them pass through with only a slight notice of their existence and as soon as they're found out, i don't care anymore!!!!! you should'nt let them get to you. it's what they want. it's all their alive for!!!
