What if you were told that being straight is a sin. Then, the government would join in and try to ban marraige of man and woman.
How would you feel? What would you do? Is it fair now?

I don't claim to know everything, Horselover14. You could be right.

I don't think it was hubbabaloo. The Beslan school was in Russia and wasn't it a Russian anti-government group? I could be wrong though.

Beslan has little to do with Iraq and the Middle East, or I may be getting your point wrong.
Unless I'm much mistaken, wasn't the Beslan Schol Seige connected with the Middle East.

It's a bias because they're drawing your attention towards what they want. Since my newspaper portrays Iraq and the Middle East and all that as innocent little babies who would never hurt a flee, they don't want attention draw at the Beslan School Seige.

Ok, as a person who happened to be in Russia at the time of the Beslan School Siege, I can say: WHAT?!

No, bias is like showing only one side of the issue or very little of the other side. I find NPR the most reliable and must say that I don't find it as biased as you probably do.

But it's a bias, because they're deciding what to draw peoples attention to.

Quite? Maybe a little, but not that much. I mainly listen to NPR and read the Washington Post. Yes, I know NPR is a bit liberal, but it shows both sides of things which is good. Washington Post is just way more reliable than my hometwon newspaper so I get mailings from them. quote: By the way Celtic, I was slightly disappointed to find that your site wasn't a real site. Me, three. I typed it in and everything. *sigh* Ah, well. . .
NPR is very liberal. My newspaper is horribly bias. It bugs the life out of me. They put a highschool team winning on the front page of the entire thing the day after that massacre in Russia, and the Massacre was on page 11. HOW STUPID!

I don't read sites that fall into any side. I read news sites (CNN, for example) and such, watch MSNBC all night, and then come to conclusions. I don't trust most information online. There are a lot of unbias writings out there. Just look.
CNN is quite liberal, and I don't watch TV, so I can't really say, but from their news sites, I think they have a tad conservative bias. It's not a bias to the point that they taint things that I'm talking about, but news sites do have a bias in deciding what's important and what's not.

I agree... many news sites are actually dedicated to the truth, and not a political side/opinion...

However, clpo13, that's why we cannot agree. I do not think it's a frame of mind, but a psychological disorder. Celtic saying that she doesn't read biased sites, I don't know what she reads. Give me a site, and I'll point out it's bias and why.

Come, come, hubbabaloo, why would we trust anything from site about the research and therapy of homosexuality? As if homosexuality were a disease! It's not. It's a frame of mind. Saying homosexuality can be cured is like saying being female can be cured. By the way Celtic, I was slightly disappointed to find that your site wasn't a real site. I was really hoping...
