Why is it stupid? You don't want gay people to be allowed to marry. Think about being in their place.

I would not feel at all awful on the first count, because my religion has no concept of sinning. However, if a government did ban hetrosexual marriages it would be condeming the whole country to death, and there would be a lot of refugees leaving for Canada and Mexico.

I am for gay marriages, I would like to point out. I agree with Greenleaf, that it is difficult to accept anothers point of view. Just keep telling them, it will sink in eventually.

No, I'm saying that if this were true, there would be no freedom for me to practice my religion.

Artificial insemination only works if you take it out of other people. Two gay males have to get an egg out of a female, thus it's not both of their child. Two lesbians must get sperm out of a male, thus it is not both of their child.

You know there were a religious group called the Campbellites. They believed that celibacy was the best way. Guess what? They died off.

The homosexuals would eventually die off. Artificial insumation is much more expensive, harder to work, and just more of a hassle than sexual intercourse, so not all gay couples will indulge in it.

To Critikay's question: Of course, everyone would go into an uproar, despite the many attempts to point out that if homosexual marriage isn't the legal, then heterosexual isn't either.

I would feel upset that this has happened, but take it as an oppurtunity to further gay rights.

This was a question to point out the unfairness of not allowing gay marriage, not, as yogore said, to be analyzed.

There'd be freedom of religion. just because your religion tells you to do something doesn't mean the government has to make it legal. The Bible mentions stoning witches, but you're not allowed to do that.

I, myself would completly ignore the church and government and go about being a human being, waiting for another human being whom I shall love, not caring about wha gender they are. (Exactly as I do now).
