I am so tired of being thought of as "to young" to do certain things. I am tired of "you'll understand when your older" or "your only fourteen". But that is what it always is, I am either "only fourteen" or "almost fifteen". I have my own opinions and intellectual thoughts. Doesn't anyone understand that teenagers are not just a bunch of stereotypical and ditzy nothings. Does anyone else ever feel this way??
Let's face facts here, you're fourteen what do you really know? You're too young to have experienced a lot of what life has to offer and you're knowledge won't be the best simply because you haven't and haven't had the chance to put the same amount of time into studying that an older person has. You're inexperienced and turelly immature (generally) compared to an older person. why shouldn't people look you over?
There is nothing more infuriating than being passed over because of your age. I've always been driven to "be older than I am" And I'm glad I have. I look at some of my class mates and shutter. And the thing is, it isn't their fault. Their parents have "dumbed them down" for their entire lives.
I'm only 16, but I have a somewhat different scenario in that I'm 6'5" and look somewhere between the ages of 18-22.
Often times, WE ARE to young for things, a lot of things we don't understand. Just get a grip and enjoy the nice things in life when you're young. -Sunset
I have to agree you brooke. I am 14 and i am often told that i do not know what i am talking about because I am too young. I have my own opinions and people should respect them.
