Please explain to me exactly how it is that gay marriage would ruin the "American Family". I think with all the domestic abuse, 50% divorce rate, and all the other ways heterosexuals have messed up marriage, what's the worst that could happen? I don't see what the big deal is.

You said that you didn't want to bring religion into this, but as soon as you finished that sintance, the next words you typed were: "But God...."

Let me set this straight for you:

"Rights" are not a religious matter. They are of a Governmental matter. And the law clearly states that Church and Government should be seperate. Denial of a person's rights not only go against American law, but also the free will that your God so graciously gave to all man kind.

And, I don't understand your clear unwillingness to use the word "love" when referring to a union of two homosexuals. This implies that you don't believe that love (true, pure, unconditional love) can exsist between two people of the same sex, and to me, this just demonstrates your ignorance to the world around you.
