I agree with your sentiment in some. Some of those things that just slowly aggravate you forever. For example...I am insanely annoyed by the normal prep. He/she like Smallville and The OC, has no hobbies except maybe a sport and "hanging out with friends" wears a selection of completely normal clothes with accents of Hollister and A&F, likes Something Corporate and Yellowcard and other trendy music that everyone likes for it's sheer uncreativeness, and the running thrill and desire his/her life is to hang out with more friends, hopefully go to a "badass" party with alcohol at someone's house, play cards, go cheer at a school diving meet. That's all they do, that's all they talk about, they make up 50% of the kids here, and they are RIDICULOUSLY BORING. Give me a hippy, a goth, a Jesus freak, a nerd, and an emo kid, or a deviation or mixture of any of them, over any of them, any time.

quote: This is exactly why I'm so hateful. I hold in my anger for years and years. I don't complain. I don't cry about it. And when it gets too much and I let some of it out, I'm labeled as lazy and self-piteous. Thanks.
No, you're labeled as lazy and self-piteous because you refuse to look past the bad. Humans gave birth to you. Humans made the clothes and food and computer and keyboard that allow you to be here typing today. Humans gave you your polio shot so you don't have to live in an iron lung for the rest of your life. Humans fought for your freedom, democracy, and human rights. Without humans, you simply wouldn't exist. The fact is, more than half of our DNA is exactly like an animal's. We can't change that. We ARE animals. Although I know you weren't serious, stopping reproduction won't change that. But we do have our differences from other animals. We poop, but we poop into ceramic toilets, and then our poop is taken through a maze of pipes to a central sanitation station where our poop can be cleaned and used for good. Show me another animal that does that. We eat, but we eat food that has been made for us, that our fellow members of the Homo sapiens species grew and processed and cleaned and cooked. Show me another animal that does that. The fact is, we are the dominant species. We may have our differences about what that means, as I, being a vegitarian, would know, but we are dominant.

lol. EarthGoddess, I applaud whatever the h*ll it is you're doing! It made me laugh, though I'm sure that was not your intention, but it helped me get some of my own hatred towards...well, everything...out of my system. Do however you please, hate whoever you want. Just don't make it permanent.

On Christmas Day during World War I, German and British soldiers all put down their weapons and ran out into No Man's Land to celebrate with each other. This Truce lasted for a minimum of 3 days on many parts of the western front. In order to get them to start fighting again, Britain had to send in new troops. It's easy to hate the bad things. We are humans. Hence "humanity." That's our nature. You can antagonize over it, or you could accept it. Nothing and no one is completely bad or completely good. Think how much money has been donated to charity over the past few years for people in need, whether it's for breast cancer research, 9-11, Hurricane Katrina, AIDS research, Tsunami help, Earthquake help, or just plain goodness. For every bad there is a good, that is how the world works. To ignore the good is just laziness and self-piteous.

I do deal with it. But I'm tired of being quiet about it.

Spare yourself the agony: don't wait for someday - do it now... You know though, I read this and thought: this gal's got issues, but then, the funny thing is, I know what you mean. At some point we all do. Life sucks horribly, terribly, catasttrophically at times (MANY, MANY times). IT's great that you got that all off your chest. Now that you have, all I can say is: deal with it!!! There you go and that's life for you, and now that you've let it all out... deal with it! *shrugs*
Okay, fine!!! Tell me what you think of me.... now ask me if I care...

quote: why don't you expound a little on what you said, tell why you hate those things.
I did. But if you're confused, do something intelligent like, quote something specific and ask. quote: You know, hate isn't very good for the soul.
I have no soul.

I was like you, then I realized, it's better to love humanity for how stupid it is. It can make you laugh so...

Gee... I hope I didn't make you feel that way. I don't know how to respond to this, why don't you expound a little on what you said, tell why you hate those things. Then maybe someone can actually make a real reply.
