love has no colr. to love someone comes from the heart. i know this becuase i'm in a interracial relationship i'm black he's hispanic. i love him dearly. i don't care and he doesn't care about the color of our skin. to love someone is mental not visual at least thats how it is to me.

It's not about what seems "right." It's about love. For instance, my great-grandparents had an age difference of 15 years, yet they lived a long and happy life together. I have a cousin who's gay and feels the same way about his partner as I do about my girlfriend. If those two things aren't love...what are they?

Yes,actually gender and age matter!!!If you,clpo13,went out with the same gender it wouldn't look right, cuase you couldn't have babies cuase your the same gender!!!And if you were ,i don't know,14 and the other, oppisite was 32.That wouldn't be right cuase he is way more different!!!!!

They may have known what they were talking about, but that doesn't really help us, does it? Anyways, skin color shouldn't matter at all. I still can't believe this is even an issue that needs to be addressed. Love is love, regardless of skin color, gender, age, or anything.

The "Heart", as in the seat of emotions in humans is vastly differant from the mind. The mind does all the logical work. The heart feels. You don't think about loving someone, you feel you do (though this feeling will result in thoughts about said person) and the key thing about the heart and the point which the OP may have been trying to make, is that the heart and emotion don't see skintone.[/QUOTE] Hey,stop trying to smart off!!!!!They know what they met!!!!!DUH!

I agree with you. If you love someone, why should the color of there skin matter? The way I personally look at it is that on the inside we are all the sam colorso what does it matter? If you love somone you love them for who they are. Love as well as marrage are not based on color. Some people may not agree with me and thats ok. Its freedom of choice to date someone. If you are more comfortable with someone of your own race then thats totaly up to you. Love for the person, not the apearance.

Okay I'm more mildy concious now and I have time to point out that the OP is contradicting herself "to love someone comes from the heart" "to love someone is mental" The "Heart", as in the seat of emotions in humans is vastly differant from the mind. The mind does all the logical work. The heart feels. You don't think about loving someone, you feel you do (though this feeling will result in thoughts about said person) and the key thing about the heart and the point which the OP may have been trying to make, is that the heart and emotion don't see skintone.
