Oh, society is very much based on life and death. I can even surmise that without one of these elements (Life), there would be no society (Or atleast anything similiar to one we have now).

The service industry is based on enjoyment of life. The food/medical industry is based on sustaining of life. The war industry (War is an industry. The sales of arms, the privitization of weapons, etc. War is the violent relocation of resources, which is the basis for economy. Therefore, war is an industry) is based on two points: The preservation of life of those you wish to live, and the death of those who wish.

Civilization is based on the neccesity for survival. To amass more resources so more people you enjoy can survive and enjoy life. To delegate power for easier management of life. To have more people to defend and protect life, and to inflict death on those who cross your path.

The arts and all of those other superfluous acts are purely meant for the enjoyment and life, to justify an existance that has nothing more then that: Life and Death.

Truely, society is based on life.

I love the way everyone talks about me...makes me feel all warm inside.

The concept of life and death, birthings and funerals. If society is to be founded on anything, then it should be founded on those two principles.

In terms of society, women are as equal to men in every way. Statistics about muscle mass, intelligence, etc, are just that, statistics. They have no reflection on an individual, and shouldn't be considered in the hiring progress for anything, unless we're talking about models or sex workers.

Arbitrarily deciding who is qualified for what job, based on their sex organs, is nothing better then deciding who is better, based on race.

Along with that, you are failing to take into the fact that I said "Able to". "Able To", denotes capability, and does not neccesarily require action.

Not at all. If you both end up killing one another, you are equal. If you end up dead and they live, that person is superior to you. Duh.

The guys at my school have a newrefound fascination with video/computer games...

Like no one played them in high school, but then they hit college and honestly and truthfully (at least at my school) had nothing better to do with their time...

Well i dont view myself as a kid because i dont feel like one anymore and i am glad everyone in college just sits around playing games
