The Kwaio...really aren't that bad. It's not as if women are exiled when they menstruate or whatever. They have a hut in the village to do their "unclean" business. They submit to their husbands. (Which, really, is that so uncommon even in Western civilizations?) The same radical anti-female crap is in Islam was well.

Has anyone heard of Kwaio? It's a religion in the Solomon Islands. You do not know sexism, until you hear about these people. They believe that women are garbage. LITERALLY. They believe that women, and anything pertaining thereunto, are pollution. They have special set aside places for women to go to the bathroom and to eat. These places are like hazardous waste sites to them. They keep women in special, places (somewhat prison resembling places) while they are doing anything that pertains to womanhood. That means during the entire period of menstruation, pregnancy and childbirth. Why? Because menstruation, pregnancy and childbirth are things that men do not experience. Since men, according to these people, are the only natural beings, menstruation, childbirth and pregnancy are "unnatural processes." Menstruatal fluid, ovulation discharge and the feces/urine of women are treated as toxic waste.
