There is a fine line between nationalism and patriotism. Nationalism is the idea that your country is the best, the most important and deserves everything. Lets say Germany was a nationalist country during the second world war. Hitler was feeding on the nationalism and anti-semitism. Nationalism should be destroyed entirely. Long live internationalism! Internationalism is the belief that the world shold be united, in a socialist or anarchistic way, not in a globalization way 9damned capitalists are crushing human societies).

Existence is an art.

Feeling proud of one's country isn't really the problem; it's when one feels that every other country, and the people living in other countries, are subhuman, and therefore it's okay to exploit them.

Some Japanese, Canadians, and French may feel nationalistic, but do they have the power the United States has over other countries? That's why American nationalism can be much more dangerous than, say, Canadian nationalism.

So do the French, Japanese, Canadians...

Don't just focus on us.
