okay this may be a little bit of a tangent but all well. Don't judge all christians by your experience with another. Since being a Christian means that you have your own relationship with God. Christians have some different opinions, However we all believe that Jesus/ Yeshua came to take our punishment for our sins against God and that he rose again from the dead. Just becuase one christian is wierd, doesn't mean ALL of them are. I'm not.

I don't know how you'll feel about this, but here it is. There is so much conflict on if homosexuality or bisexuality is wrong. You've more than likely already realized this is because everyone has different beliefs and opinions. If you believe that Jesus and God do exhist,then you believe (probably) that homosexuality and bisexuality is wrong. If to you there is no God then most likely, they're not wrong.This conflict will never end,unless all people everywhere agree on whether there is or isn't a God. Why? because it was God who first said that homosexuality and bisexuality is wrong. If he exhists and the Bible is true then homo and bi sexuality is wrong. If he doesn't then it would okay. God would never cause you to disobey his word,it says so in the Bible. So if the Bible says that men should not be with men and women should not be with women,God will not cause you to want to be in love with someone who is the same gender as you. In the beginning of the Bible there is a story of how disobedience to God came into the world. Because of this disobedience, the perfect haven God created for us was destroyed. That's how diseases and work came along,and the want and need for anything else that God did not have in mind for us to do or feel, such as homo and Bi sexuality. I know that it is not right for people to hurt others just becuase of what they believe and how they feel. God wants us to love one another (as we love ourselves) If you hurt yourself this does not mean that you could hurt others. God does not want you to hurt yourself!! Anyway, If you've heard of hell, that is not God's way of punishing you for not believing in him. Let's say that God was real(if you don't believe he is) and did create us, then if we did not accept the fact that Jesus/Yeshua took our punishment for us, We would have to be punished ourselves-for every law of God that we broke. (because were pretending that he does exhist.) Hell was originally created for the angels that turned against God and for their leader Lucifer/satan/devil. Then we broke God's law and hell became our destination as well. Till Jesus/yeshua took the punishment. of course homosexuality is not wrong... we are all so lucky 2 day... we can be more open with who we love..my mom's gay.. she said that she wasn't able to be open about being gay until she finnaly accepted it.. she knew someone who got killed because they were gay. she is very open about it now, and so should everyone else in the world,,, we have 2 much prejudiceness and racism...no one should have to suffer 4 who they love.~cole~

chemically attracted? like transgender peoples? i dont know much about the scientific side of homosexuality, but thats the only "real" proof i can think of to be "chemically" attracted.

If that's true, then why are some people chemically attracted to the same sex. Most people ("by doing of God") are chemically attracted to the OPPOSITE sex. Others aren't.

Oh, it's not sad at all. The sad part is that innocent people who have done nothing wrong, but have a genetic predisposition towards a different sexuality are discriminated against by people like you who ignore everything science knows about the brain just because they think a certain thing is icky.

I'm sure that most of you christians here go to church. Tell me, have you heard from your preacher lately that black people are demons who are going to hell and that white people, being the supreme race, have to help take care of them?

Amazingly enough though, up until the 1950s this was the strongest argument christians had for racisim to continue. You don't hear about it today because people have realized that the teaching is wrong, and that just because bible passages can be used to justify things DOES NOT mean that the ideas being justified are at all correct.
Now think about all the "The bible says being gay is bad" things you have heard. Do you think that just MAYBE christians have the wrong idea once again?

I have friends that are gay and bi, and I love them as much as any of my other friends. I would die for them, in a second, and I'm not just saying that. Personally, I don't believe in what they're doing, but you can't force anyone to believe anything. If nothing else, you can "hate the sin and love the sinner." I mean, if you use Christianity to justify discrimination, you have to extend it to include anyone of a different religion (Hindus, Muslims, Wiccans, athiests, agnostics, ect.). In addition, there are no degrees of sin; one sin can send you to hell if you're not saved (according to Christian doctine). Therefore, it's no worse to be homosexual than to tell a lie, or to have sex outside of marriage. People who do that may get called ****s occasionally, but they don't get harrassed. We need to learn to respect each others boundaries. Shoving our religion down peoples throats isn't going to help matters. Love to you all, Jen.
