Actually, the term "race" has been used to refer to mass groups of people; not just color-oriented groups. It's used for religious categorizing and foreign groups of people. For instance, you have the Jewish race, and the Polish race, etc.

Now, correct me if I'm mistaken, but do Jews have their own color? What about Polacks? Didn't think so. Now, if it can be used to described those groups, why not homosexuals? And I thought you were anti-PC, so why does it matter what they're referred to as?

Joey lives in Texas, the bigotedest (not a word, I know) state. I too live in Texas, where to be a "***" is the worst possible insult to straights. I know of only one other gay person in our school district, and she, unfortunately, backs up the stereotype of us being sex predators. All my friends know I'm too lazy and wimpy to ask someone out. What, I ask you, are the odds I will randomly snap some day and start raping children? I once had our school's crazy jehovah's witness girl HIT ME WITH A BIBLE when she discovered I was bi. Some people go to far with a certain teaching and disregard the more important ones, such as not judging people. I do not judge people on color, gender, or orientation. But I cannot seem to stop people disregarding all they know about me and saying I'm evil for loving the wrong people. Hell, there were problems when my brother came out for MY social life, before I even realized I was. My friends couldn't sleep over because of a gay brother.
