My school is basically one big clique. Most of the kids are *******s to any newcommer, but we're generally friendly amongst ourselves... probably since half of them are cousins. I do try to be friendly to new kids tho... and intimidate the ****faces who aren't.

We have popular kids who (most of them) are rude, stuck-up, rich and snotty *****es, then geeks (I am probably classified as one, but there would be objections to this because I have popular friends), normal people (I think I am here, but could probably fit into any group), and a few others like racist white kids (I live in the south, but I am anti-racist which means I don't give 2 squirts a **** about skin color), gang members, that sort of thing. It's just the social stacking order, but it is unfair to those who aren't preps.

No idea. To me, my clique is just me and 4 of my close buddies. Than I just 'hang out' with everyone else. But, some cliques are just mean... they make fun of people different than themselves. -Sunset

The main problem with cliques is that there's always that "popular" clique, and the "dirtbag/loser" clique, and then just the medium average clique/s. What always seems to happen (at least at my school), is that the popular and normal kid cliques go out of their way to make the "dirtbag/loser" clique people's lives a living hell. THATS whats wrong with cliques.

Just imagine them as different religions, they each follow a leader, and do the same things... there are always cliques that never get along and end up fighting.
